Hailee's POV
I get home after a long day of work. I'd had an interview regarding our new film project, a photoshoot for the cover of Vogue, a studio session — heavens, you name it.

What's even more tiring is the fact that I've got to start packing for tonight's flight to New York. I haven't got the time to myself since I got the role for the film project. I've been super excited but it's also a lot of work despite the fact that I love my job.

I pack my clothes and other things that I need for my stay in New York. Filming this movie is supposed to take about 5-6 months so I wanna be as comfortable with the clothes I wear as much as the next person.

What I'd been looking forward to was spending time with (y/n) — more than anything this project had to offer. I'd been thinking about her a lot. So much so, I'd asked her to share a room with me earlier.

==================================
(y/n/n)☺️
                                             hey, wanna share a room
                                             when we film?
kinda busy, talk later?
                                             sure... call me ❤️
==================================
(y/n) hadn't even opened my message after, which has me overthinking what I'd asked. Did I just ask her to move in with me during filming? I shouldn't have said that — I should not have said that.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to share a room, but then maybe I made a mistake. I shouldn't have suggested that when we'd already be seeing each other way more often. I don't think that might happen — not with (y/n) not replying to me. Since my text, she hadn't even made an effort to talk at the table read.

I continue to pack my things when my doorbell rings. I rush over to open it. Would you believe it — Jordan Fisher.

"Jordan, hey!"

"Jordan, hey!"

"What's up, Hailee?" Jordan greets me as I let him in. "What're you doing?" I ask him. As far as I'm concerned, I'd be meeting my co-stars either at the airport or in New York.

"Just wanted to see if you wanted to head to the airport together." I think about his offer. Not that I didn't enjoy going places with him, I mean, I've only been to places with him only a handful of times. But as much as I want to go to the airport with my co-star, I'd very much like to be asked to go with his TV best friend — (y/n).

"Yeah, sure. I'm almost done packing." I tell him as I close my third luggage. "Sure, I'll just wait in the living room."

I nod at him and watch him go over to my living room. I then place a few more things into my bag and I head out of the room. I drag my stuff out of my bedroom and into the living room. In my right hand, I've got my luggage and in my left, I've got Martini and Brando in their doggy cases.
