Seraphina was woken up rudely by loud banging at her door. She got up and walked downstairs. The banging was louder down there and she wondered who would be there. When she turned the corner, her door was wide open and Damon was there. A smile formed on her face.

"What is this? You're a vampire, I shouldn't have to be invited in. And besides I was just in here," He said. She giggled.

"No, but I am still a witch and spells are what I'm good at," She said. Damon mocked her giggle and banged on the side.

"Let me in Sera," He said in an upset voice. She leaned on the side of her door.

"Oh yeah? Why? So you can try and kill me for snapping your neck?" She asked. He shook his head.

"You're older than me, faster and more sinister. I don't think I would be able to kill you," He said. She giggled and invited him in. He walked in and shrugged his jacket off, throwing it on the couch.

"You know, it's not like there's a hanger right there next to the door," She said, gesturing to the hooks mounted on the wall. He shrugged his shoulders and took her Bourbon.

"Stefan has decided to join the football team," Damon said. Seraphina's eyes widened.

"He what?" She asked. Damon nodded his head.

"Yep, he's really taking this whole normal highschool kid to heart," He said. Seraphina plopped on the couch.

"I don't know how to help him. No one can convince him not to do this. I can't cast a spell to make him walk in the daylight with no ring," She said. Her mind was spinning. She had no idea what to do. Damon sat across from her.

"The problem is, the mayor is a Lockwood. The sheriff is a Forbes. Elena is a Gilbert. And the news reporter is a Fell," He said. She shook her head.

"They are everyone in power. The mayor, Sheriff and the reporter. How do we keep this hidden for so long?" She asked. Damon drank his Bourbon and shook his head.

"I don't know," he said. Seraphina was surprised, even he didn't have a plan. Or did he? She didn't know.

"We are part of the Founding families. What if we infiltrate and see what they know?" Seraphina asked. Damon looked at her.

"I'm already one step ahead of you. I talked with the Sheriff," He said. She nodded.

"And?" She asked. He stood up and set his glass down, picking up his jacket.

"And that is for me to know and you to find out," He said. He walked out the door and Seraphina was left to herself. Not knowing what he was going to do or what was going to happen.

She pulled herself out of her thoughts and got dressed. She needed to get out of the house and see what was going on. She would seem more suspicious if she didn't get out. She got in her car and drove to the grill. She got out and walked in. She found a secluded booth and sat down. A waiter walked up and asked her if she was ready. All she ordered was a Bourbon. She sat next to the window drinking when someone walked up to her.

"Oh, Bonnie. How are you?" She asked her. Bonnie had this look on her face.

"C-can I sit?" She asked. Seraphina nodded and gestured for her to sit.

"Can I ask a weird question?" She asked her. She nodded.

"When I touched you, I saw a fire with seven other people. I felt cold and also something that I could trust. When I touched Stefan all I felt was death," She said. Seraphina looked down at her drink.
