Deadly Promise

Ch 23

       It was late by the time they arrived back in Mystic Falls. They had parked on the side of the road and Klaus decided to pay a visit to Stefan who was still in the Semi. they knew where everyone was going to be, it was just a matter of getting there before they left.

       Seraphina grabbed her Grimoire from the backseat and was reading through it. Rebekah looked over her shoulder.

       "This is mother's Grimoire," She said. Seraphina nodded.

       "Yes, it is," She said. She had found multiple writings on the Doppelganger, now she just needed to put the pieces together. Klaus was dragging Stefan towards the highschool and Rebekah and Seraphina followed him. They got in and Klaus found Elena.

       "You my dear, are supposed to be dead," He said and grabbed her, dragging her towards the gym. When they got through the doors, Klaus told everyone to leave. Now, it was just Bonnie, Elena, Stefan, Rebekah and her. She took a seat on the bleachers and continued to read.

       "Now, Bennett witch, you are going to figure out how to fix this problem or I will rain hellfire upon all of you. You have one hour," He said. Rebekah left and not two seconds later she returned with Caroline and Tyler.

       "There's the wolf, Niklaus. We have an hour and I think I'm finding out what we need to do, just give me time," She said. Klaus nodded and fed Tyler his blood. He snapped his neck and he fell to the ground.

       "Tyler!" Caroline yelled. She was crying.

        "Oh come now Love, he will come back to life. Hopefully Sera can figure something out or he will actually die," Rebekah said. Seraphina heard Klaus compel Stefan to kill Elena by the time the buzzer went off, but she wasn't fully paying attention.

       She had found something about hybrids and how to create them. It didn't mention anything about the Doppelganger, but it was saying it took something of supernatural power. She knitted her eyebrows and stared at the page. She heard someone walk up to her.

      "Love, did you find anything?" Klaus asked her. She stood up and closed the book. She got off the bleachers and started pacing around.

       "Now, I mean no offense to you when I say this. Esther hated you, she wanted to do everything she could to make your life hell. So why would she create a spell to help you break the curse, but not be able to create hybrids?" She asked. Klaus nodded at her.

       "It does seem a little strange," he said. She looked at Elena.

        "The Doppelganger. That was the key to the spell. So, that's why she would have you kill her. Her blood is what creates the hybrids. You need her blood Niklaus," She said, it was like a lightbulb went off. Klaus looked between her and Elena.

       "Are you sure?" He asked.

       "I'm like sixty percent sure," she said. Klaus patted her shoulder and nodded.

       "I'll take those odds," He said. Before anything else could happen, Rebekah had a fire lit under her.

       "Why does this bitch have my necklace?" She yelled, bringing the photo to Seraphina. She shrugged her shoulders.

       "I don't know. I didn't even know she had it," She said.

       "Stefan gave it to me," Elena said.

       "Elena, if you think I'm bad, don't get on Rebekah's bad side. She'll have fun making your life hell," Seraphina said. Finally Tyler started to move around. Seraphina sped to Elena and bit her wrist, making her bleed. She dragged her over to Tyler and forced him to drink. She pushed Elena away and watched Tyler.
