Suddenly he started to hear footsteps coming behind him.
He quickly without hesitation put the arrow in his raincoat inside
his pocket.
Feeling a piece of metal touch the back of his head.
He froze.
"Don't move." The voice was an aged male voice said to him.
"If you do, I will shoot your brains out."
Adam complied
Adam suddenly felt something inside of him that was now awake
and
that was one thing he regretted having.
His rage
He needed to do what he had to do.
But he was soon cut by two other men walking and stopping to look at
him.
One of them used his pistol to remove his hoodie to reveal his face,
"Well, well well look what we have here boys." The right hunter
spoke.
"Is that big Chappers boy?" The left hunter asked.
"Indeed it is." Right hunter said.
They all laughed.
Including the one with the gun still pointed to his head.
But Adam didn't, he gave them a straight face.
That's when he noticed the hunter to the right was holding a brown fabricated sack.

It was moving around struggling and Adam could have sworn he heard it whimpering.
He stared at the bag.
The hunter noticed this and pointed his gun at him.
Suddenly the sack shredded to reveal an anthropomorphic wolf pup.
The wolf growled and snarled, baring its fangs.
backing away from them. Its yellow eyes full of predator instincts
But when the wolf looked at Adam it stopped staring at him.
Suddenly The hunters quickly reacted by trying to catch it.
But the wolf strikes at them creating a scar on the right hunter's
cheek and a scrape on the left hunter's leg.
They yelled in pain.
And they fell to the ground in pain groaning
The hunter that was behind Adam that was keeping him still pointing
his weapon behind him.
Quickly walked around Adam and aimed his gun at the wolf.
Adam saw fear in the creature's eyes
Suddenly he felt a surge inside of him.
And he somehow struck the man causing him to miss fire.
The man fell to the ground unconscious.
Adam was about to turn around to face the wolf.
But it first leaped at him and caused him to fall behind his back against the dirt
Adam froze looking into the wolf's eye.
The wolf stares for what felt like forever.
Then the wolf moved away from him.

Adam looked at the wolf watching it staring at him as he carefully got up.
Once he got back to his feet
they looked at each other one more time
when.
Suddenly when he was backing up he slowly walked away leaving the anthropomorphic wolf alone.
He stopped and turned his head to look back at the wolf.
"You're not going to hurt me...are you?"
"...No." The wolf said in a child feminine tone.
Adam was taken back that this anthropomorphic wolf could both understand and speak verbally.
And that it was a child that the hunters took.
But he understood carefully and was about to leave when he felt two soft paw hands wrap around his pant legs.
He looked down to see that the wolf had her ear drooped down looking up at him.
"Do you need help?" He asked.
She nodded.
He slightly kneeled down and reached his hand to hers.
"Come on, I can take you to my home." He said with a reassuring smile.
She looked at his hand then at him.
She smiled slightly too and took his hand with hers.
And they walked through the forest together.
"What's your name?" She asked.
He looked down at her.
"Adam...my name is Adam." He said.
