Wild Love

CHAPTER: TEN

Lazzari searched the areas of the woods and her group of hunters.
That's when Lazzari picked up the wolf pup's scent.
But when it got stronger, the group of hunters and herself hid unnoticed to see three human hunters getting up from the ground.
"That little brat took our capture from us!" The old timer said with a white beard and snow-white shaggy eyebrows.
Lazzari and her group of hunters watched as they began to prepare themselves.
They all found their belongings and started setting up their hunting weapons.
When they were ready, they left in the direction
Where Lazzari assumed and smelled where the wolf pup might be.
And they quietly followed the three men human hunters.

Adam was interrupted by a knock on the side of his door looking up he saw the anthro wolf girl in his old kid's clothing.
Bookmarking his book and closing it.
He walked over to her.
"...Are you hungry?" He asked.
After saying that he heard her tummy growl.
The wolf pup followed him downstairs back to the kitchen.
Adam opened up the refrigerator, pulling out a pack of bread, lettuce, lunch meat, sliced tomatoes in a Zip Lock baggy, and a bottle of mayo and mustard.
Washing his hands in the kitchen sink, he continued with him making the sandwich.
The wolf pup watched in fascination to see how he did it.
Once it was finished and ready.
He placed it on a paper plate and gestured to her to sit down at a table.
He gave it to the wolf pup.
She sniffed at it at first but that's when she took a bite and savored it.
"You like it?" Adam asked.
She nodded, aggressively.
It only took her a matter and a moment of minutes to finish the sandwich.
Adam cleaned up the mess he has made from making the sand and to his surprise the wolf pup helped him.
"Thank you." He said.
She nodded and continued to help him.
When they were done doing, what they were doing.
Adam walked over to the living room.
But noticed that the wolf was following him.
He turned on the television and pulled up a movie that he and his family loved to watch.
The Goonies.
A 1985 Richard Donner film.
The wolf pup was fascinated by the screen and Adam explained it to her the best way he could for her to uh understand.
He sat down and the wolf pup sat next to him and began to scoot closer to him.
Until her fur touched him.
"That reminds me, I never asked about your name." He said looking at her on his left side.
She looked at him for a moment.
Then spoke.
"It's Pine." She said.
He nodded acknowledging her.
She took her hand in his and hugged it.
"Thanks...for saving me." She said.
He looked at her.
"Your welcome." Adam said.
