Finley's POV
I was half tempted to start looking around or go see what was going on in Blake's room, but since I haven't seen, or been here for so long I didn't.
I really rethought going to her room like a hundred times, I stood up to walk up the stairs when I heard an elevator open. 'I didn't think they actually used the elevator' I thought to myself
I looked down at my phone to check the time, and when I looked up I stopped in my tracks. Blake was in a wheelchair. 'What happened to Blake?'
Blake's POV
"Blake? Oh my gosh, I've missed you so much" She ran up to me and squeezed the life out of me.
"Can't... breath... Fin." I gasped out
"Oops, sorry, sorry, sorry," She said backing up.
"I've missed you so much too Fin," I said tearing up a bit.
"I'm gonna leave you girls to your talk. I'll be up in my room talking to my daughter, Rose. Yup, bye." Jon said running up the stairs and slamming his door shut.
FIn in I let out little giggles that turned into full-blown laughs making us cry.
"Is he always like this?" She questions still out of breath from laughing so hard
"Every since I got him a smartphone 2 years ago he has been acting like a giddy 15-year-old boy that grew his first chest hair." That made her giggle even more.
"Oh my gosh, I can totally imagine that."
Once we finally sober up the more 'serious' questions start getting asked.
"How have you been doing Blake?"
"You want the truth?"
"Yeah"
"Not really the best. It's been a tough 6 years." I said letting out a dry chuckle.
She moved down the couch closer to where I was. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked in complete seriousness.
"Not really right now."
"Well if you need anyone to talk to after you get tired of Jon, I'll always be right here for you." She said reaching out to hold my hand.
"I know, that's one thing I've missed. I haven't had a girl to talk to in years. Only Jon and I love him, I do, but sometimes I needed some girl talk."
"Well, I'm here now."
"On to hopefully happier conversation, how have you been?"
"Wonderful. Even though I have missed you like crazy, I have had a pretty good go at life. I have a bunch of new friends. But momma passed away a couple years ago.
"I'm so sorry Fin."
She was about to tell her more about my life when I gasped. "Oh My Gosh. Finley Carson Marl. What is that giant diamond ring around your ring finger?"
"I was getting to that Blake Jennifer Thomas." She said mockingly
"After your 16th birthday Arex and I kept running into each other here banging on your door, and we hit it off." My face dropped at that, Arex is her fiance? She didn't seem to notice because she kept talking,
"After a while, we became best friends. We actually ended up going to the same college, where we met Pearl and Ryder, they are siblings. And we all hit it off and became best friends. Last year Ryder proposed." She squealed, and I did with her, for two reasons. One because I'm happy for her, and two, because that means Arex might still be single.

RomanceI just want to put this out there, my story does get really side-tracked from my original idea that's why it's so long. It is about Arex and Blake, but it also branches off into the other characters' lives as well. The beginning focuses more on the...
