Three weeks flew by like a couple of days. We sunbathed, swam, traveled around the cities, walked, went on excursions several times, Handong made me go around all the local bars with her, and when we returned home, we were rested, tanned and happy. To my surprise, Handong never stuck with anyone, and generally behaved like the right one. I was happy for my friend that she finally found a woman who gives her everything she needs. I didn't have an affair either, although there was a lot of attention towards me in some parts of the city where we lived. Bora occupied my thoughts, firmly settled there. I was looking forward to seeing her. We bought a bunch of souvenirs, so the luggage doubled.

When I drove Handong to her door, she wished me good luck and told me to call as soon as I resolved the issue with Bora. I looked at the clock. Three o'clock at night. I headed home, determined to get a good night's sleep, then clean myself up, and try again to get through to Bora's heart.

Already accustomed to the sun and heat, I grimaced as I looked out the window and stepped out of the shower. Raindrops drummed on the glass, and the wind howled.

I did not call up or correspond with Bora all this time. We have never had such a break. Even when I was studying in England, we corresponded through messages almost every day. But she told me to think, or she wanted to think for herself, I don't know. I gave her this opportunity. She did not know where I had gone, with whom, or when I would return. Therefore, I decided that my appearance on the threshold of her house with a huge bouquet of flowers would be a great surprise.

It was early ninth in the evening when I was driving down the road to Bora's cottage. The rain lashed incessantly, the cars moved slowly, as there was very poor visibility. I arrived at almost ten in the evening. The gates were closed, but the lights in the windows were on. I, like an experienced one, easily jumped over the fence, still stumbling, and went to the door. The bouquet was a little worn in the rain and after my jumps over the fence. I pressed the call button. A couple of minutes later the door opened.

I saw how Bora's eyes widened, and her mouth slightly opened. Yes, she was surprised. I smiled admiring her. Coming to my senses, I blinked, then handed the bouquet to her:

- Hi. This is for you, ..." I did not have time to finish the sentence. Bora snatched the flowers from my hands and in the next moment she hit me with this bouquet in the face. I stared at Bora, not understanding such a greeting. Yes, it was a surprise. The blow was delivered at Bora. Cheek burned.

- But... for what?" I mumbled and the next second did not understand what was happening.

Bora threw herself on my neck and hugged me. I pulled the woman to me.

- Where the hell have you been. I worried so much. I was looking for you. I called Handong, but she did not answer, I came to your place every day, called hotels, hospitals. Only when I found out that your car was parked at the airport did I more or less calm down. Where have you been?!" Saying the last phrase, the woman pulled away, angrily looking into my eyes.

- I... we... we went to Italy. You yourself said that I need to rest," I said quietly, fearing another blow with the bouquet.

- Why didn't you tell me?" Bora asked more calmly, not paying attention to the used pronoun "we". She moved deeper into the hallway, inviting me to come in.

I walked in, took off my shoes and went to the living room after her.

- Everything turned out so quickly ... "I continued to explain," we stopped at a travel agency, bought vouchers, packed up and flew away at night. Sorry. I didn't think you'd be worried.

- What do you mean "didn't think", Siyeon? You are not a stranger to me, how could I not worry?!" Bora leaned on the back of the sofa, still holding the already fairly shabby bouquet, and I stood opposite and felt like a loser who was being scolded.
