Madi checked her schedule anxiously, she was happy with whatever class she would have gotten. She just had one rule.

No. Ben.

Ben and her had been academic rivals for years, usually she scored higher than Ben. Maybe she hated Ben a little bit, maybe she wished Ben hated her. Maybe she should stop thinking about stupid Ben!

So she took her attention to her schedule, which was printed out yesterday but she never had looked at it carefully. Social Studies. She read, her first class was social studies.

How do you feel when you find out your first class of the day is social studies? Well Madi felt pretty good, which is probably the opposite of how she was supposed to feel. She scanned the hallways for her class and found it at the end. Great I have to walk to the end of the hall everyday..

Her heart stopped at what she saw.

Ben. Byler.

Why the HELL was Ben here? She looked at the seating chart that was printed at the front of the class and saw something that made her shiver.

They sat right next to eachother.
