Vigilante picked himself up, all bruised up underneath that suit, and on high alert for his friend's safety.

Deadshot was gone from the scene. He had followed the trail of which Chris had to struggle through. Pass the back of the antique store and into the next block on the other side.

He wasn't bitter only because Flag was his ally, he was angry because Flag being the man he was was the reason he could get to see his daughter from time to time when he was still in Belle Reve. Something he always owed him for.

Ever since the shake-up at Belle Reve in 2018, Floyd had been a free man. Though he still felt he owed Flag. But now he was gone.

"Motherfucker." Lawton said, as he bolted across the street.
He spotted a speeding car then figured, this must be where Peacemaker is.

Emilia and Chris immediately spotted him from a distance. "Shit. Drive. Drive!" Chris yelled.

"On shit. Shut the fuck up!" Emilia yelled back.

Deadshot came and rolled on to them. He held his wrist guns out and sprayed screeching bullets at their car.

He was about to kill them dead on the spot. Then the lightning earlier came into the frame. It rushed and quickly snatched the bullets as if into its grasp, cancelling Deadshot's series of bullets.

Lawton's eyes widened. "You gotta be shittin' me." He said, still aiming his iron sights later on to the strange streak.

The lightning reverted into Sprint. She turned around to face Deadshot, her hand full of the bullets he fired. She had on a smug expression, along a big smirk.

"Hello there." She said very casually, and allowed the bullets to drop on the asphalt from her opened hand.

Harcourt and Chris back at the car watched in wonder. Although the latter wanted to get out of there ASAP.

"F-Fuck! Another douchebag." Chris said.

Emilia checked on him then pushed on it. Pulled the car back and quickly did a u-turn as they drove away.

Lawton sighed as he put his guns down.

"Good boy." Sprint said. "Why'd you beat up that guy back there?" She asked.

"You don't understand shit, kid." Floyd said.

"It's why I'm asking?" She said.

"Oh, now you wanna be smart with me? Me who just tryna bury a killer." Lawton said.

Jazzlyn tilted her head again. "Uh-huh. Don't you know the saying: Kill someone and the amount of killers in the world stay the same?" She said.

Lawton shook his head. "So you're the new Flash?" He asked.

"Temporarily?" She said.

"Really?" Lawton fired at her.
Then as expected, she grabbed the bullets in mid-air swiftly. Just as the Flash would.

"Come on, Mr. Deadshot. Just go home." She tossed the bullet away as she walked closer to him. "The bullet holes and the splatters back there tell me you fatally injured Christopher Smith. If I'm not wrong?"

"Like I said, you should mind your own business." Lawton said bluntly as he brushed past her. He headed to get away from this town now.

(Y/N) sped around him, she turned into lightning as she dragged him onto a light pole.

Then the next thing he knew, he was tied to the pole. With rope, and duct tape for his mouth. Not a predicament he had been in before. His eyes bulged as he exclaimed at (Y/N), although with his voice all muffled.

She stood in front of him all tied up. "You stay here for now and think about what you've done!" She said in an intended cartoonish fashion, then sped off into the distance. As usual, she left the devastating noise of a sonic boom.
