Kirishima sat in the waiting room. Not long after her heart stopped the doctors pushed everyone out of the room.

y/n could be saved.

Everyone was in shock, but apparently the cancer hadn't gotten to all of her. There was still a chance her life could continue next to him. He wanted badly to stay at her side.

After an hour of waiting and staring into the blank prince presence of no one Kirhsima heard footsteps. He looked up from the floor as his chest pounded.

Bakugou came walking from down the hallway with his hands stuffed into his pockets. The blond took his sweet time before looking Kirishima in the eyes. Slowly his lips twitched onto a smile and he nodded his head.

In that moment Kirishima could no longer feel the limbs attached to his body. All he could remember was the bright lights of hospital, and before he knew it he was faced with the same door his love was behind.

The red head hesitantly nocked on the door. The person who opened it was the familiar mother he had come to know. y/n's mother smiled as she let him in the room to see her.

As soon as his red eyes fell into y/n and saw her stomach moving, he finally knew it would all be alright.

He would never take life for granted ever again.

7 years later

"C'mon sweetie say it again."

"Stop trying to make her do that. She's a mamma's girl, and she would never betray me that way."

Kirishima looked up to his wife with a glare in his eyes. Hoshi had just said her first word, which was 'dada' and y/n did not believe him.

y/n laughed at the face he was making as she picked up her adoptive daughter. "My little girl would not do that, I've basically been training her to like me better," She boasted.

Hoshi as piece of her mothers grown out hair into her mouth and chewed on it as she laughed at her parents.

Not long after y/n had battled cancer her a Kirishima got married. It may have been a huge step into their relationship, but that was one they were willing to take at the ripe age of 18.

They then learned y/n was unable to have children, and to the Kirishima's that was not a problem. They went through a long adoption process, but they came out with a wonderful little girl.

They loved their daughter endlessly and would never change anything for the world.

"Darling I'm telling you she's a daddy's girl." Kirhsima said. He was took the piece of hair out of Hoshi's mouth. She then grabbed her own blue hair and put that into her mouth.

y/n stared him in the eye and smiled. "You sure it's just Hoshi who's a daddy's girl, Eji?" She questions.

Kirishima felt his face burn with embarrassment just before covering his daughters ears. With a red face he said "Not in front of the baby y/n."

"She's a baby she can't understand a thing I'm saying." y/n commented.

After a bit more talking they decided it was time to call it a night for the baby. The parents spoke their words of love to their daughter just before she fell into a peaceful slumber.

They soon after made their way to the balcony to gaze at the stars. Sometimes they would skip this step in the night due to the feelings it gave y/n. She would remember the horrible times when she was ill and could never gain up the courage to face the stars.

Due to this she never got the job she wanted, she new she would not be able to handle it.

Kirhsima would remind her she was a fighter and should be proud of herself, but the words were not enough.

"The stars look particularly beautiful tonight, wouldn't you say my love?" The red head questioned. He turned to his wife clinging to the balcony railing with her feet planted to the ground.

His eyes softened. He set a comforting hand atop hers and slowly kissed her cheek.

y/n jumped at the feeling. She looked to her husband and sighed. "I'm sorry, it's been a rough day. Sometimes I wish it could all go away, and it would just be us."

"I love you."

The women turned to him and saw his loving gaze. She couldn't look away. He never failed to make her feel loved.

"I will never make your feelings less than, but remember who you are and what you've gone through, what we've gone through. The universe and the stars wanted us to be together and that I will always be thankful for." He stated.

Kirhsima left forward and embraced his loving wife. He embraced her and never wanted to let her go.

"The stars are watching over us darling."

y/n look up at him and smiled.

"Yes they are."

She rested her head on his soft chest and breathed in. This was her unforgettable life.
