WHEN EVERYONE IN THE DORMS STARTED TO TALK TO Y/N, TWO TEENS LEFT THE ROOM. The noise from downstairs could be head from the ash blonds room.
Tension was thick between the two as no words were spoken. It was so thick a knife could cut through. It was so silent you could hear a pin drop.
Kirishima didn't know why his friend wanted to talk about someone serious. He didn't know what was going on.
Bakugou knew what was going on. The looks Kirishima gave y/n. While she would give him the same.
It was obvious to him yet not clear to the the two. They were just that stupid.
Kirishima wanted to break the silence first. "So what'd you call me up her for man?" He asked fidgeting with his shirt.
Bakugou narrowed his eyes "When were you gonna tell me shitty hair?"
"Tell you what?" The redhead was genuinely confused.
"Tell me you like y/n?" He asked in a 'are you serious' tone.
If there was water in his mouth Kirishima would spit it out, so at the moment he was choking on air. Having a coughing fit while Bakugou was unfazed.
"How's you figure that out?!" He yelled.
The ash blond made a 'tch' sound. "It's child's play idiot. I see how you look at her now, it's pretty fucking obvious."
Kirishima didn't know why Bakugou was staying so calm right now.
The guy just figured out one of his best friends like his ex-girlfriend and the girl he grew up with. He thought his he knew he'd put Kirishima in a headlock.
"You gonna say something or what dumbass." He put his feet up on the bed with his hands behind his head.
Kirishima was sitting on his desk chair contemplating what to say... "I know it's not manly to like your ex so that's why I won't say anything."
Bakugou looked at him disgust. "Your shitting me right?! I already fucking told you I don't like her that way. We broke it off years ago.
The relationship was forced by shitty peer pressure, idiot. Don't go putting things in my mouth I didn't say! Our FRIENDSHIP got stronger, nothing else. So admit that you like her."
Kirishima hesitantly looked at him and answered. "Yeah I really, really like her. I'm not sure what happened, I took her to the movies and she started to hold my hand and it just happened!"
Bakugou scoffed at him. The guy really was an idiot for not asking her out then and there, but there was something on his mind that he needed to get out...
"Listen to me."
Kirishima looked over to his friend and payed closed attention.
"You can date her because I don't fucking care. But I do care about how she feels, she's my best friend and she's sick. I hate using that fucking word...
You need to NOT break her fucking heart because if you do I'll break you. I told you before and I'll say it again to ask her out you needed my permission.
And you just got it."
Bakugou looked away slightly embarrassed by what he said. It was like giving away his daughter at their wedding, it made him upset.
He knew the day would come she was going to find another boy to date and he didn't want to guy to be a douch bag.
He wouldn't show it but Bakugou was insanely happy the guy who she chose was Kirishima. y/n chose a guy who would be there with her all throughout sickness and health.
He didn't want to think about what would happen in the future so that's why he knew Kirishima needed to ask her soon. Bakugou wanted her to be happy.
To live however long she had as happy as she could be and Kirishima could give her that happiness.
Along with Bakugou of course.
"I would ask her out but I'm not sure if she likes me! I don't want to embarrass myself or her because that wouldn't be manly." He started to get embarrassed himself.
"You kidding me right? Why are you so dumb... SHE LIKES YOU TOO YOU DUMBASS!" When he yelled Kirishima instantly ran over and covered his mouth with his sweaty hands from embarrassment.
"Dude you can't let the whole dorm hear!" He whisper yelled. Bakugou scoffed again and took the hand off his mout calmly.
"All I'm saying is don't be a shit head and not take a chance because soon you'll lose it. Don't let that happy to you or her. Ok?!"
He looked into the red eyes of his angry friend. Bakugou had to most serious look on his face he'd seen in a while. Kirishima knew he wasn't playing around.
Bakugou meant what he said and wanted them both to be happy with each other.
Kirishima almsor started tearing up. "Aww Bakubro, that's so manly of you. I'm not sure how to thank you enough dude!" He engaged Bakugou in a tight hug.
"Shitty hair... GET OFF ME YOU IDIOT! I NEVER SAID YOU COULD FUCKING HUG ME!" Kirishima laughed and rubbed the nape of his neck as he let go.
"Thank man..."
"Tch, whatever."
Bonus:
The class was watching a romance movie with y/n sitting in between Mina and Uraraka. The three girl got along very well.
As a kissing scene came in there was muffle yelling heard from upstairs. "GET OFF ME YOU IDIOT! I NEVER SAID YOU COULD FUCKING HUG ME!"
Everyone looked at each other while y/n just laughed. "Leave then be, it must be a lovers quarrel."
