Monday morning you whip into the school parking lot late as usual. Even more so because you have to stop in the office to get your schedule.

Pulling next to a blue Camaro you haven't seen before wanting to stop and admire her but you are forced to run into the school before the bell rings. It will have to wait til later.

At End of day in the school parking lot leaning up against the hood of your car.
Jason a sophomore comes up and tries yo ask you out.
"Saturday evening, roses, movies and Enzo's. Im thinking yes?"
"Funny, No is just the thought that never crossed your mind." You say with a laugh and moving your hand as if to say move along. He gets red faced and walks away.

Billy walks up behind him and opens the Camaro door grabbing cigarettes.
"Already having them line up. Is this a constant thing."
"Kind of. They think because of how much i party they think I'll be an easy date."
"And your not."
"Depends on if you believe the rumors. If the rumors are true. I've slept with half the school."
"And are they true?"
"No. They aren't."
"So why did you turn him down?"
"He apparently doesn't know how to talk to a girl. To hear what she truly wants said."

"So this is you car?" He asks
"I've heard a lot of talk about her."
"Him."
"Him?"
"Yea it's a boy."
"1969 Plymouth road runner. Very bad ass car."
"I could say the same about yours" standing up off the hood and walking over to her.

"Do you work on her yourself?" You ask him and he nods.
"Maybe I'll let you under my hood someday."you say with a wink. Caressing her roof along the doorframe.
"Would you like take her for a ride some time?" As your Staring into his exceptionally clean car, he Placing his arms on either side of you Trapping you with his arms.

"You know your looking especially good today. Been looking at you all day. It's hard to stay focused" He leans in real close to your ear so the next sentences could only be heard by you and him.

"Been wondering what's under there." Leaning back and removing his arms.
"Any time you want a ride just let me know." Opening the car door and starting her up. Seeing a young red head girl open the passenger side door, you back up. He winks at you as he backs up and takes off.

When you get  home from school and walk in the door you hear your mom on the phone.
"Kristen is that you?"
"Yes mom it's me."
"Tina is on the phone for you." Walking into the kitchen and grabbing the phone you put it to your ear.

"Hey Tina."
"Hey Kris I was wondering if you wanted to come to the diner with us."
"Who is us?"
"Me Tommy and Billy."
Spend more tension filled time with Billy. Yes please.

"I'm going to have to ask the parents. They have this new rule about taking my car keys on weeknight after I get home from school."

"Well what if some one picks you up and drops you back home again?"
"I don't know. They might go for it."  Pulling the phone away from your mouth.

"Mom can I go out to eat with a few friends? They can pick me up."  She looks over at the clock on the wall and chews her bottom lip.
"You dad is working late tonight. If you promise to be home by eight. If your dad comes home and your not home he will Be mad."
"I promise I'll be home." With that she nodded her head.

"She said yes. What time are you picking me up?"
"Give us 20 minutes." Hanging up the phone, you run to the bathroom and touch up your makeup and perfume.

Hearing a car horn beep you, yell goodbye to your mom and walk out the door. Expecting to see Tina but come to find a blue Camaro sitting in your driveway.

You stop in your tracks. Billy was smiling at
You his arm resting out side the window. He was wearing a brown leather jacket and sunglasses. You heart started beating faster. His eyes never leaving you as you round the car and slid in.
"Guess your getting that ride sooner rather then later." He says as he starts the car.
"She is gorgeous you say running your hands over her leather seats."
"She handles like a dream too." He adds.
"I bet she likes to go fast too." You say suggestively. Staring right into your eyes he floors the gas.
He is trying to scare you. Make you nervous.

But you keep holding his gaze. After a minute, he throws his head back and laughs.
"We will have to test her out against my car one day."

Pulling into the diner you see Tina and Tommy talking to some one you had hoped to avoid. You sit up straight and Billy looks over at you.
"You alright?" His brows furrowing.

"Uh- yea. It's just that's my Ex. He can kind of be a pushy. I was hoping to avoid him." His look of confusion still present, nods his head and gets out coming over to your door and opening it up.
Before Billy closes the door behind you James eyes are locked in on you. Looking over at Tina you have her a look which you hoped said what the hell tina.

"There's my girl I was wondering when I would see you around." You walk toward the group.
"James." He leans in to hug you yet you lean away.
"Don't be like that." He grabs you hip.
"I was thinking we could get together Friday. I'll call your dad he won't mind."

"No I don't think-" he cuts you off.
"No,I'll call your dad when I get home" you lean further away when Billy's hands reach around you and smack James hand off your hip.

"She said no. And keep your hands to your self."
"Who the fuck are you? Is this your new boyfriend or some shit.... Well,Speak up."
"No I'm a friend. Beat it before I beat you."
You walk into the diner not bothering to look back at what is going on. The other three follow so you assume James took Billy's advice.

"Don't let him get to you Kris. He thinks he is hot shit. He talks shit but can't back it up." You keep your eyes on the table but it Tina earns a chuckle from you.

"Mr. Lick everywhere but..." she added knowing you would commit to a full laugh. Which you did.
"I'm guess he was a shitty boyfriend" Billy said.
"Ya. talk about weak in the meat." You said with another laugh your mood staring to improve.

"Let's just say he wants his women like a 1950's house wife..." you say looking at Billy. He still looked confused.
"Can take a hit and not say anything." His eyes turn cold as ice and he looks over this shoulder to look out the window. Looking to see if James was still there.
