days.

it's been days since i've heard from cole and braeden.

the one person that i have been talking to was dylan. yes, i have eliza and julia, but it's not the same when i talk to them.

other than braeden, dylan was always there for me when we were kids. if i needed somebody to talk to, he was there. if i even scraped my knee and started crying like a big baby, he was always there to put a bandaid on it.

i haven't gotten out of my house since the incident, either. what i've been doing was watching Netflix eating whatever food i had left in the house.

surprise, that's exactly what i'm doing right now.

suddenly, i got the urge to rant to somebody. i'm surprised i have more shit to even rant about.

dylan rubbed my back as i screamed into the couch pillow. inconveniently, it was raining outside.

that makes me feel SO much better.

i lifted my head up, taking the most biggest inhale of my entire life. "i hate men. except you. you've been the decent one this whole time." dylan laughs at my statement, crossing his arms. "if the band breaks up, i take full responsibility. sue me."
"brae will get over it." he reassured. "i do want to thank you for not telling him. i'm sorry i wouldn't let you."
"it's okay. i get it." he smiled, getting up from the couch and entering my kitchen. "i'm grabbing some water. do you want anything?" his voice echoed to the living room. "no thanks." i replied.

he came back moments later with a pink solo cup in his hand. he posed out of nowhere, making me knit my eyebrows in confusion. "take a picture."
"what?"
"just take a picture!" he insisted again, gaining an eye roll from me.

i shook my head at dylan. "you're a dork." i said blankly. "at least it made you smile, so i did a job well done!" he exclaimed.

there was a knock at my door minutes later. i rose from the couch with a groan to go and open it.

a wet cole was standing there. he was panting like he sprinted from his car to my front porch in seconds.
"hi, y/n."

pause.

"hi, cole."
