It's been 24 hours since Robin Arellano was labeled a missing person. We all know that the first 24 hours are the most crucial, so we can just hope for now that he is safe and well.

I've kept myself locked in my room all day, I only went out of my room to get food but I would go back in right after. I can't believe I didn't stay. If only I had stayed.. Robin wouldn't be missing right now.

I laid in my bed, my eyes were puffy from all the hours I have spent crying. I closed my eyelids for a second when a sudden knock on my door startled me. "I'm not hungry dad!" I yelled as I pull the covers over me.

"I-It's not your dad... can I come in?" I hear a voice call out from the other side of the door. "Finney? Yeah, come in I guess" I fixed my hair a bit as I sat up in my bed.

The door gently swifts open as he steps inside with a comforting smile. "What's up?" I ask as I tuck some of my hair behind my ear. "I uh noticed you haven't been outside all day. I wanted to see if you were okay." He stands awkwardly a few feet away from me, looking around at my room.

"Well no I'm not okay, The Grabber took my best friend." I reply. "I know Ally- I mean Alyssa" he corrects himself a bit awkward. "Call me Ally" I smile generously.

He just nods in response as he walks closer and sits on the edge of my bed, just a few inches away from me. "If anyone can escape him, it's definitely Robin." He says very sincere I almost wanted to believe him.

"This is my fault, I should've stayed with him. I should've known better." I look down at my shaking hands.

"It's not your fault, you didn't know." He says as he places his hand on mine. He immediately jolts his hand away regretting placing it there. "Sorry" he looks down at his thighs.

I placed my hand on his which makes him look at me. "Don't apologize" I look into his eyes as a light shade of pink caresses his cheeks. I clear my throat trying to cut out the silence "is that the only reason you stopped by?" I ask while breaking away from our gaze.

"Y-yeah I was just making sure you were fine. Which you are so.." he pauses for a moment. "So?" I laugh lightly. "I guess I should get going" he says moving his hand away from mine.

"Wait, please don't go... I don't really feel like being alone." I gulp slightly hoping he would stay. He locks eyes with me and nods "okay, I won't" he says softly.

"Do you want to watch a movie or something?" I furrow my eyebrows slightly. "Yea sure" he smiles before standing up and heading out of my room. I follow him into the living room.

I'm not sure my dad would be too happy that I have a boy over, unless it's Robin. My dad really liked Robin, he was practically family.

"Have you seen Grease?" I ask as I look through the collection of tapes my mother bought a while back. "No, is it good?" He questions as he sits beside me on the floor.

"Oh my god, it's literally so good! We're watching it." I smile obnoxiously as I pull out the tape and place it in the vhs player.

"Alright" he laughs as we sit on the ground leaning back against the sofa.

We were halfway through the movie when I began to feel a bit tired, I leaned my head on his shoulder. He smiled as he looked at me and intertwined our fingers. I couldn't help but feel this intense feeling of butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

I can't deny these feelings, I definitely like Finney.
