I groaned in pain as I opened my eyes, he threw me on the mattress and pointed at us. "Let this be a lesson for the both of you." He growls before walking out the door again. Finney quickly rushed to my side and wrapped his arms around me as I sat, holding my knees to my chest. "Are you okay?" He asks in a gentle tone.

"It hurts." I cry out as tears stroll down the side of my face. "I've got you, you're safe now." He says while hushing me. "It hurts Finney." I cry as I rock myself back and forth.

The only thing I could think of was Robin and he used to comfort me when my parents fought.

I can't believe he's gone.

After a while the pain finally eased and I was slowly drifting to sleep in his arms. My exhaustion left when I heard the sound of the phone ring. Finn gently pulled his arms away as he stood up and answered it. "You said my name was Billy." Billy stated.

"Billy Showalter." Finn says as he turns around.

"Don't call me that, I don't remember it, it's not who I am now." I look down at the floor when I notice the glass bottle begin to shake.

"What do you want me to call you, then? What do you remember?" Finn asks. "I told you. I was a paperboy." He replies a bit harsh. "Ok, paperboy." Finn replies a bit low as he turns around. "See the wall in front of you? See the wall separated from the floor?"

"Yeah." Finn replies. "I tore a Long cable loose from down there and kept it hidden." Billy tells him. "What am I supposed to do with that?" Finn questions but he got his answer when the bottle dropped to its side and spun, it pointed at the high window.

"He wants us to tear down that metal thing with the cable." I say as I stand up and look for the wall. He follows me and pulls out the cable through a small hole.

We walk over to the wall with the window and he attempts to throw the cable a few times.

It doesn't work.

"Wait I have an idea." He says while walks over to the toilet. "Help me drag this back to the window." I followed his faint voice from the bathroom.

I picked up one side of the rolled up mat and he picked up the other. We slowly dragged it and leaned It against the wall.

He inserted the cable from below and it slowly came out from the top. He smiled as he noticed it was working.

It curved down and he threw the mat away from the wall. He pulled the cable and tried to use it to climb the wall. His body crashed into the wall and he kept slipping back down.

"Here maybe you should make a knot." I said as I grabbed the cable from him and tied it.

He nodded as he stuck his foot on it and used it to climb the wall, he reached the metal bars. His hand inched for the lock at the top of the window before the bars snapped off sending him flying backward with the metal plate in hand.

He whines as he falls to the ground. "Oh my god. Finney, are you alright?" I ask as I quickly crouch over to him.

"Mhm, I'm great." He groans while pulling himself off the cold floor. He sits on his knees and looks up at the window.

I knew what he was thinking, he thought there wasn't a chance of us getting out.

And I couldn't help but wonder, what if he's right?

After a few hours the sunlight faded away and left us in darkness.

"Alyssa, I need to ask you something; in case there's a chance we don't make it out of here." He says while turning to face me. "No, you're not doing this. Not here." I reply a bit harsh as I realized what he was going to ask.

"Please Ally." He says sadly. "No. You're not gonna ask me here. You're going to ask me when we finally leave." I state.

"But what if we don't, you can't tell me that possibility hasn't crossed your mind." He says as he gently places his hand onto mine.

"I won't deny the fact it has, but if we think like that it might become true and.. I refuse to accept that as our fate." I say as I hold his hand in mine.

He sighs as his eyes wonder to the floor. "I know keeping hope isn't always easy but you have to try Finney. If you can't do it for you, do it for me. Do it for Gwen." I say as I look at him, he slowly looks back up at me.

"I really like you Alyssa" He says almost in a whisper. "I really like you too." I smile as I feel a light cloud of blush appear on my face.

This tension grew between us as we fell silent and admired one another.

He looked so pretty as the moonlight gleamed on his soft skin. I felt a shot of adrenaline burst through my veins as I leaned in and kissed him. He quickly kissed me back while placing his hand on the side of my face.

After a while he slowly pulled away "We need to get out of here as soon as possible" He says in a whisper which makes me laugh.

"We should dig a bit more then." I say as I look over at the hallway section where the mat was. We both get up and walked over to the hallway. He rolled the mat to the side.

We dug for an hour and flushed down multiples piles of dirt.

I smiled as I noticed he was starting to yawn. "let's go back to bed, we can finish this tomorrow." I smile as I place my hand on his shoulder. "yeah, fine." He says as I reach my hand out to pull him out of the hole.

He grasped my hand as I pulled him out. We rolled the mat over the hole.

Once we had finished he dusted off some dirt from his shirt as we walked back to the mattress. We both laid down, it was really cold since it was almost winter. He wrapped his arms around my waist as he snuggled me.

After a few hours we woke up and started making a plan on how to defeat The Grabber. We both fell silent and pretended to be sleeping when we heard the metal door grate the floor.
