𝓟𝓲𝔃𝔃𝓪 𝓐𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓵|| 𝓙𝓪𝓻𝓰𝔂𝓵𝓮 (𝓭𝓲𝓼𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓾𝓮𝓭)

3: The Next Morning

Jonathan woke up to Will towering over him.

"Jesus Christ, Will! Nearly gave me a heart attack." Jonathan furrowed his eyebrows and tried to wipe the sleep out of his eyes.

"You went on a date last night, with a boy." Will was very clearly excited about the fact that he and his brother had another thing in common. Besides them being "freaks" at least.

"Who told you that" Jonathan propped himself up on his elbows, eyebrows still furrowed.

"I overheard you and mom last night. Argyle, huh? Interesting choice." Will sat down on the edge of Jonathan's bed.

"Hey! I know you don't like him that much but he's pretty cool when you get to know him."

Will smiled at Jonathan's quick defence of his new boyfriend.

"Okay, okay, I'll take your word for it. How was it? Did you have fun?" Will leaned closer in anticipation.

"Jeez, you're becoming more and more like mom by the day!" Jonathan chuckled and sat up against his headboard.

"Yes, I had fun, except for the fact that he was kicking my ass! He's seriously so good at bowling, why would anyone ever need to be good at bowling!" Jonathan and Will laughed together. Jonathan then let it fall silent softly smiling for a moment.

"He was also very attentive, surprisingly. He's just so sweet and pretty. I'm lucky to have a guy like him in a world like this.

"Okay, now you're getting too sappy even for me, please stop it" Will feigned a disgusted expression but his voice was still lighthearted.

"Alright, get out then so I can change!" Jonathan playfully pushed Will off the bed.

Jonathan eventually left his room to join his family for breakfast.

"Jonathan, Will and I would like to go to the mall, can you take us?" El said almost as soon as Jonathan sat down.

"You can bring your new boyfriend! Argyle is fun." El smiled awaiting Jonathan's answer. Jonathan almost choked on his orange juice, clearly news travels fast in this house.

"Uh, yeah I'll take you guys to the mall." Jonathan smiled trying to recover from the orange juice attack. El and Will looked at each other with a mischievous smile. Jonathan raised an eyebrow.

"What are you guys planning?"

Suddenly they looked at Jonathan with the most innocent faces they had ever worn.

"We're not planning anything, why ever would you think that?" Will said a halo practically appearing above his head.

Jonathan side-eyed them the entirety of breakfast trying to figure out what was going on.

Eventually, they were ready to head out the door and to Jonathan's surprise Argyle was already waiting on the doorstep.

"Argyle? What are you already-"

"I'm going to the mall with you, dude!"

Jonathan looked back at El and Will giggling together before they ran to get in the backseat of Jonathan's car. He shook his head and laughed before following suit and starting the car.

Argyle placed his hand on Jonathan's thigh as he drove. Jonathan glanced at him, seeing that sweet smile and hearing more giggling from the back seat.

"You two seem to be having the times of your lives back there! Are you sure you're not planning something?" Argyle gave a knowing glance to the two and chimed in.

"Why would they be planning anything, bro it's just a day at the mall!"

Jonathan shook his head again. They must be planning something, nothing big but something.

They arrived at the mall. They perused a couple stores before El and Will booked it to the photo booth. Jonathan called out for them to slow down but they didn't listen.

"Come on, we can all fit in!" El said excitedly, Will nodded in agreement.

"I don't know, it seems like it'd be a little cramped," Jonathan said apprehensively but Argyle nudged his arm.

"Dude, we can all fit! Just need to wiggle around a little!" Argyle grabbed his hand and led him to the photo booth.

Jonathan and Argyle ended up squished in the middle, Will and El were on either side of them. For the first three photos, it was all of them making the usually silly faces. However, for the last one, Will and El hopped out the sides of the booth leaving Jonathan confused.

Jonathan turned towards Argyle to ask a question but was greeted with a kiss. A passionate kiss. Jonathan was surprised but wrapped his arms around Argyle's neck in acceptance.

Once the photo was finally taken they separated and smiled.

"Now whenever you're sad about affection not being shown in public you can look at the photo! Isn't it awesome, brochacho?"

Jonathan smiled and pecked Argyle's cheek.

"It is awesome, Argyle."

They exited the photo booth and met with a giggling Will and El once again.

"Did you like what we planned?" El said excitedly.

Jonathan nodded with a smile and grabbed the photo strip from where it had ejected.

"It was a great plan, but you guys are really bad at hiding things." They laughed as Jonathan ruffled this kid's hair.

They eventually left the mall, Jonathan dropping Argyle off at his place and then returning home with his siblings.

He sat on the couch and stared at the photo with a smile. He truly was lucky to have a guy like Argyle in a world like this.
