"i wanna take you out."
"it's a school night."
"please? i'll take you back in early."
"belle."
"you'll love it."
"we went out yesterday."
"so? the more dates, the better and it even makes us get closer together."
"belle-"
"please, babygirl." she pouts.
i fold my lips in thought. anabelle gives me puppy eyes and place on of her hands on my waist.
"last date for the week and then the weekend is ours." i say, giving in.
"yes!" she squeals and peck my lips multiple times, "i promise it won't disappoint."
"it better not or no kisses until i say so." i threatened playfully, pointing a finger at her.
"damn," she gives me a look, "you can't do that."
"watch me."
belle frowns and we begin to walk to lunch with her frowning all the way. i giggle and tell her that i'm going to buy lunch and she hums.
"i'm buying lunch, too. why you telling me that?" she mumbles.
"normally, you'd bring lunch to school." i say.
"hmm, that was last week."
"yet i still noticed."
anabelle shrug and we went to the lunch lady and take up a tray and move down the isle to select an item we wanted. i mainly choose vegetables and fruits to not eat a lot of fatty food. after anabelle and i pay for our food, a chicken salad is being placed on my tray and i look at belle.
"i don't want it."
"you can't just feed on greens for lunch, baby."
"and why not? how do you think vegetarians do it?"
"that's them, you're you. you're not a vegetarian."
"but i can't eat it." i pout.
"and why not?"
"you know why." i mumbled and we walked to an empty table that wasn't normally occupied.
"no, i don't know why. please enlighten me, delilah." anabelle say, folding her arms and leaning back against the bench.
"uhh, well, i-" i know she just wanted me to say it and it wasn't going that well. how do i explain to someone that i'm not eating any meaty food because my friends told me not to? how do i say that i am insecure about my weight so i try my best to cut down to the oily stuff and focus on green vegetables and fruits?
"ciara and matilda said i shouldn't eat meaty food because its only going to make me fatter and uglier. so i'm trying not to eat a lot to... lose weight, even though that's not going so well." i rushed out, mumbling the last part.
anabelle sighs.
"i respect your dedication to the vegetables and everything but that's not going to make you lose weight." she deadpans.
"i know."
"and fuck what your so called friends say. they're just mad you're beautiful and getting more attention than them. they're trying to bring you the fuck down by degrading you, and it is working." anabelle rolled her eyes, "you can't let them get to you. not because i am trying to make you feel better, but take it from me, you are one of the most attractive girls i've ever seen, thick or not. them, they're fucking skinny and need -"
"anabelle, we do not body shame!"
"say that to them."
i give her a disapproving look.
"look, what i'm saying is that you're very beautiful, i could let you cream my-"
"shut up."
"what? i was about to say sheets."
"that is not what you were about to say and that's still a sexual reference."
"how so?"
"you're saying i would, you know what, on your sheets and your c-o-c," i pause, "k."
anabelle laughs at my flustered cheeks and holds my hand.
"some day, princess."
"you're moving from the topic!"
"you get my point tho."
"yes i do." i nods.
"good. now eat all you want and prove to them that you are that bitch." anabelle says, "you're sexy and nobody should tell you otherwise."
