~To The Story~
You spent that night thinking. Thinking long and hard about what happened at the festival. At first, you were upset. Upset at Nagisa for having such negative feelings regarding your relationship with Karma. He even went as far as to ask Karma if he liked Okuda to keep you informed. Yet he had such distaste for your feelings for Karma while doing so. It was unlike him.
Then you felt more upset with Karma. Why didn't he tell you what was going on? He knew, didn't he? And how could he (almost) hit Nagisa? Yes, you're already aware of his enjoyment of fighting but you always got the sense he fought other delinquents. Not his friends. Not Nagisa.
However, the more you thought about it, the more you ended up blaming yourself. You were completely oblivious to Nagisa's feelings this whole time. A part of you did sense something off of him over these past few weeks yet you did nothing to act on it.
What kind of friend are you?
You wanted to fix this. Even though you didn't intentionally cause this feud between them. What ignited the anger between Karma and Nagisa was because of you. You felt like you were ruining their friendship just by simply liking Karma and wanting to date him.
Too many thoughts and emotions swirled in your mind that night. You couldn't get much sleep.
It is evident to your parents that you got little sleep last night but you told them it was because you were out pretty late. A lie but they were already stressed with the moving. You don't need to add to the stress.
When they asked you what was wrong, you lied and told them that you were out late 'cause of the festival. Your parents were so tired last night that they went to bed early and were out like a light. They were unable to tell what time exactly you got home.
After breakfast, you thought it would be best to talk to the boys. It's your last day here and you don't want to leave Nagisa and Karma off on a bitter note. You broke their friendship and now you want to fix it. Those two are important to you and you hated seeing them drift apart.
The meet-up will be by the park near your apartment. For you, it was a lot quicker to arrive at the park and once you did, you waited by the swing.
You sighed sadly, having no clue how you're even going to fix this. It was a stir-in-the-moment kind of thing when you texted both Karma and Nagisa to meet you here. But you couldn't just leave them behind and pretend nothing happened. This is why it was better to do this now than later.
If you could at least get the two boys to talk then maybe it would lead to some sort of truce or forgiveness.
"(Y/n)!"
Of course, you couldn't hear Nagisa calling out to you, but your eye line did manage to see him in the distance as he was waving. And apparently rushing over here. He stopped as soon as he was right in front of you.
You gave him a minute to catch his breath. When he did, he straightens his back as soon as he feels his lungs have obtained enough air.
"I'm really sorry." He blurts out, sapphire eyes filled with guilt and continue to babble. "I understand you're still mad-"
You waved your hands, cutting him off. It was faint, but you did smile at Nagisa. A smile that made him question if yesterday even happened. He felt as though he didn't deserve a smile from you.
"Just sit," your hand gestured towards the empty seat next to you.
"Oh." He breathed out blinking as his breathing became softer and softer.
