I was working the counter at the shop cabin, tired as hell
"I miss Stacy" I complain to my sister Opaletta
"She left the store this morning, relax" Opaletta says
"I just miss my girlfriend, what would you do if Sammy left here to be a counselor for some random new cabin" I say
"I would react just like you but you would tell me to suck it up like I'm doing to you" Opaletta said
"I hate that you're right" I say annoyed
Some customers came in so Opaletta had to go in the back
"Hey guys" I say
"Hey Citara, where are the flowers?" Tobi asks
"Aisle 10, left side" I say
The group went over to aisle 11, I don't think they can read
"Wrong aisle dumbasses" I yell
"We figured that out" Luci yells back
They went into the flower aisle and picked out a different bouquet each
They came up to the counter and lined up in a straight line
"Luci Ford, a half-hour at the head cabin, 7 am to 8 am tomorrow since you already work at the clinic, and Tobi, Riley, and Robin Ross, a half-hour at the clinic, 2 pm to 3 pm" I say writing it all down
"Thanks, Citara" Tobi says before all of them run out
I was looking over the papers when I heard a familiar voice say "How many volunteer hours does ya heart cost? I'm assuming a million"
"Stace, darling, you've already got my heart"
I kissed her over the counter but it ended as soon as it started
"My campers are surprisingly calm even though they came here yesterday" Stacy says
"Maybe they got asked out to the dance" I say writing down all the people with volunteer hours today
"Maybe but no one knows them" Stacy says
"You never know, wanna come with me to drop these off?" I say
"Sure Darling, let's go" Stacy said grabbing my hand that didn't have the notes
We went around the cabins telling people about their volunteer hours
"Hey, Citara?" Stacy asks as we get back to the store, it appears that Sammy took over the counter
"Yeah, Stacy?" I say
"Will ya go to the dance with me later?" Stacy asks
"Of course" I say before I kiss her
"Lovebirds, both of you have work to do" Sammy says
"I've seen how you are with my sister, and you're the one to call us lovebirds" I say
That shut him up as he walked back to the aisles to organize
I went back to the counter and Stacy went back to her new cabin
A few hours pass by and it's finally dinner
I sit down with the rest of the shop cabin campers, we have to eat fast because people like to go to the store after they eat
