It was the morning after someone named Kori got stabbed by a villain who broke into camp
This scared the hell out of me, after being here for a little while I realized that the people here weren't as bad as my dads made them out to be
"Hey, you okay?" Macie asked tapping my shoulder
"Yeah, I'm fine just thinking" I say
"Here's your muffin" Macie said handing me a muffin
"Thanks, Mace" I say
Even after I found out that she had a crush on me nothing really changed between us other than her giving me muffins when I'm awake
Aubrey was taking magic lessons from Martini, Scemma was hanging out with Cabin 9 and helping Rae and Roxanne with their wedding, and Alex and Lucas went off to do whatever they do in the morning
"Do you want to talk about your crush on me now?" I ask
Macie choked on her muffin after I said
"S-sure" Macie said wide-eyed
"I like you too, is that what you wanted to hear?" I say smirking
"Y-yeah" Macie said awkwardly
I grabbed her face and kissed her
It went on for a little while until Akira walked in
"Hey sis, you-" Akira started to say but trailed off
We broke away, our faces red as hell
"I just wanted to say that we're on lunch duty today" Akira said before running away
"Um, that was awkward" Macie said looking away
"Yeah, it was" I say
We awkwardly laughed for a few seconds and Macie left to go make lunch
My thoughts were going crazy because of everything going on, I needed to meditate or something to calm down
After a few minutes of meditating Aubrey burst in
"There's a dance in 2 days, we have to prepare as soon as possible" Aubrey yelled
"Calm down, I'm assuming you already have a to-do list" I say
"Yes, 1. Get dresses 2. Get dates 3. Get makeup and hair done" Aubrey says
"I'm surprised that the list is that short" I say
"Bank robberies are more complicated than dances" Aubrey says dragging me out of the cabin for lunch
I got tacos and Aubrey got chicken nuggets
"So, are you asking Macie to the dance~?" Aubrey asked smugly
"Yeah, we're dating now, why wouldn't I?" I say
"When did you start dating?" Aubrey asked
"About 15 minutes ago" I say
"Good for you" Aubrey says
We had swimming practice so we changed into our swimsuits
"I can't swim, my snakes would drown" I say pointing to my snake hair
"They will?" Macie says
"Yeah, last time I tried two of them drowned and I had to cut them off to have a funeral, luckily they grew back after a year but I'm not doing that again" I say
