Her fear only grew bigger when she learned all the details about the Mikealson family ruining her moms life. It was all so crazy, she almost didn't believe it was really true until she confronted her parents about it. They told her everything, about how they were both vampires and got cured of their vampirism. About her Aunt Caroline being a vampire. How she was apart of the Petrova bloodline. Everything she had ever believed about the world had changed and not for the better. That day on she wore jewelry laced with vervain to prevent any compulsion to happen to her. She wanted to tell her best friend Kara but her parents told her it was dangerous to get her involved. That still didn't stop her from giving her a bracelet laced with vervain. Along with a necklace for her younger sister Stefanie who was still unaware of the supernatural world. She needed to protect herself and everyone she cared about from the horrors that she read. But out of everything she had discovered, nothing seemed to scare her more than the last name Mikealson.
