Adeline's POV:

The shock I felt at being quite literally swept off my feet by Joon and pulled into an intense kiss quickly gave way to elation. I eagerly reciprocated his kiss wrapping my arms around his neck threading my fingers into the hair at the nape of his neck. At my reciprocation he tightened his hold around my torso deepening the kiss. Bliss. That's the only word that came to mind at having Joon's lips moving against mine after what felt like an eternity.

The kiss that started out in a bruising almost desperate intensity had in the end transformed into a tender one full of emotions that we hadn't been able to convey otherwise. Joon was the first to break the seal of our lips as he leaned his forehead against mine. We sat like that just feeling one another's presence sharing each other's breathes while our hearts beat quickly.

"I'm so sorry Adeline." Joon whispered against my lips.

I pressed my lips against his in a gentle kiss before I pulled back finally opening my eyes to look at him.

"Me too."

I wrapped my arms around him once again hugging him tightly as he did the same. We stayed like that embracing for a while until I realized that my room door was still open.

"As much as I would love to continue hugging you, I need you to put me down."

"Why?"

"Because my door is still open."

At my statement about my door, Joon turned us to where we were both facing my open door. We looked at it and then back to each other and burst into laughter. I loosened my hold intending to slide down to the floor so I could close my door, but Joon only reinforced his hold on me and walked towards the door refusing to let me go.

"Joon. You got to put me down." I said with a giggle.

"I don't want to." He said pecking my lips with each word.

I grinned at his refusal while he shut the door to my room with a soft click. At the closure of my door, I realized that he really wasn't going to put my down.

"Joon you can't carry me around forever."

"Says who."

I laughed.

"e. Down, please." I said with a pat to the side of his upper arm.

"Fine." He grumbled out setting me down on the floor.

I shook my head with a smile as I turned around in the short hallway and made my way into the open room. As soon as I exited into the room Joon wrapped himself around me in a back hug hooking his chin on my shoulder. I couldn't help but smile at his clinginess as I wrapped my arms around his clutching his arms tighter around myself. I could feel my eyes slip close in contentment as Joon began slightly swaying the two of us to and from.

"I'm so sorry Adeline. I've been such an idiot." He spoke into the quiet of the room.

I opened my eyes at his statement.

"Joon, it's okay."

I felt him shake his head against me that was still resting on my shoulder.

"It's not. I've made so many mistakes with you."

"Me too."

"No, you had every reason to be upset with me. I should have talked to you instead of assuming things."

I knew that he must have been referring to Tae and me.

"It's not what you think. I promise."
