(A/N: There's Ailith for ya)
Ailith was sitting in her bath tub, scrubbing every inch of her body until it was bright pink.
She wanted to get his scent and the feeling of his touch away from her.
She hadn't pressured Amar to say anything else, but continued her act with him until Step-Hoe called and made her come home.
Ailith stood up. Her skin was starting to get grossly pruny, and she wanted to relax, eat something, maybe watch something, before sleeping and another day of school and training.
She looked at herself in the mirror, still naked and dripping wet, and observed her slight muscles.
She didn't see much change in them, but there had only been a week and half of training.
She also cringed slightly at the number of bruises on her neck and chest, courtesy of Amar.
Ailith wasn't a very curvy girl, nor a very skinny one. She had never hated her body, but she had never felt like it was her own either.
She sighed and grabbed a towel. She dried herself before putting on her bathrobe, and put a towel turban on her hair for it to mostly dry.
Ailith walked out of her bathroom and found a familiar someone sitting on her bed.
"What do you want, Hunter?" she asked, tiredly.
Hunter stood up and strode over to her, his usual cocky smile playing his lips. "You took a really long time in there."
"Shut up, I'm tired."
He sobered up for a moment, standing a foot away from Ailith, with his scarlet and charcoal eyes looking into her own.
"You asked me what I wanted," he said softly, "I wanted to apologise. I've been a dick to you."
"Probably to make up for the fact that you don't have one," she smiled wearily.
Hunter chuckled, "Watch it, Everstone."
"Hey," she shrugged. "It's cool. We all get pissed and take it out on someone else. Now get out so I can change."
Hunter laughed at her before walking out of her room.
"Is that boy okay?" she murmured to herself as the door closed. "Why's he like that?"
Ailith shrugged off her bathrobe and quickly put on her pyjamas before letting her hair out of the towel.
"You still out there?" she asked, opening her door.
"Yeah," Hunter said, appearing in front of her.
He studied her, which made Ailith feel uncomfortable. While Ailith was resisting the urge to squirm under his gaze, Hunter outstretched an arm.
"By the way," he said, his face becoming serious and unreadable. "Did Amar say anything?"
Ailith stiffened as his fingertips brushed against a bruise on her neck, making goosebumps rise on her skin.
Ailith shrugged, ignoring the tingly feeling under his fingers.
"He just said that he was gonna destroy all demons. Maybe you're right. Maybe he is delusional."
Hunter raised an eyebrow, "or maybe you just hate his hands on you."
Ailith repressed a shudder. "Yeah," she agreed, taking a few steps away.
"You know you should put duty before your feelings."
"What duty?" she sighed, flopping onto her bed.
