Ria dejectedly followed her mother deeper into the house. She looked behind her to sea Lyza being escorted out by Jahn, a look of shock on her face. Ria didn't know what to do. She had known that bringing Lyza home to mom would. Not go well, but she never thaught that it would be this bad. Her mom said nothing as they walked threw the house, her silents somehow making the room seem cold. At last, they arived at a large wooden door. Ria knew this door well. It lead to the conference room where her father meat with other leaders. As a child, she was never allowed beyond that door. "She always used to wonder what went on in there. From behind the door, Ria could hear a heated discussion in progress. "We sent the shipment I swear." Said a voice that sounded like her father
"Weather you sent it or not, my people have seen none of it." Said another voice, this one deep and commending.
You go to your room and don't come out" said Ria's mother sharply.
"I'm not a child." Ria shot back.
"Now" Hissed Ria's mother, her voice sending chills down Ria's spine.
Ria had no choice but to retreat to her room. As she sat on her bed, her mind filled with a strange feer that she had never before felt. Her mother had never gotten this angry at her before not once. Ria didn't know what her mother would do to her, but that was not what scared her. No, what scared Ria was what her mother would do to Lyza.
