Returning to lorian

Lyza rapped Ria in a tight embrace tears streaming down her face. They had run as far as they could from that place, flying like the wind on amalia's back. "I never thaught I'd see you again" cried Ria.
     Lyza stroked her hare saying, "I would never let anyone take you away from me."
     Ria sobbed into lyza's shoulder, overwhelmed with relief at being with her again. She felt like she was exactly where she belonged. 'I love you." She whispered into Lyza's ear.
     "I love you too" lyza whispered back, holding Ria close. They stayed there for a while, perfectly content to be in each others arms before Ria pulled away saying, 'what about Rathnik. He didn't make it out."
     Lyza looked forlornly back towards the center. I remember him well from my time there." She said. "He was strong, I'm sure he' will be okay."
      Ria wasn't so sure. She remembered the way those lines of red energy had constricted around him as she had ran away. While she didn't know exactly what that was, she didn't think that Rathnik could have fared well under so  much power. She shudder at the memory. "I saw wwhat happened back there," said Lyza, "he sacrificed himself to save you."
Ria just stared off into the distance, not responding. Lyza took Ria in her arms again and held her as she cried, shedding all of the pain and sorrow that she had Endured. At last lyza pulled away from the embrace saying, "where do we go from here?"
     Ria sighed and looked up into the star filled sky. "Lorian is the only home that i've ever known." She said contemplatively, i can't imagine living anywhere else. I know that I cannot go back to my family though."
     "You could stay with me." Said Lyza with a smile. "I know every little hiding place that the city has to offer."
     "I would like that verry much." Said Ria, "It's just, I'm afraid. That my family will find me. i cant let mother send me back to rehab."
      "I understand." Said Lyza, "but I think that i will be able to keep you safe from your parents. Lorian is a big place and I know it like the back of my hand. Besides, it's safer there than anywhere else. There are no bandits or outllaws there."
     I suppose you have a point." Ria said  Thoughtfully, "just pleas keep me as far away from my parents as possible. 
     With that, the two girls set off to make a new life back in lorian free from pain and struggle, or so they thought.
