Kai's POV
"Did you- did you set the kitchen on fire AGAIN?!" Skylor stood in disbelief as I sprayed the last bit of whatever was even left in this darn old fire extinguisher.
"I... I..." I trailed off.
"I swear to the FSM this is the last time I put you in charge of dinner," she quietly muttered to herself angrily, as she began using the water powers she absorbed to put out the rest of the fire.
"Sorry~" I smiled sheepishly, rubbing my hand against the back of my neck.
"Ugh, you're such an idiot-"
"But I'm your idiot~"
"Shut up," she tried to suppress her chuckle as I stepped forward towards her.
I leaned my forehead against hers and we gazed into each others eyes until...
"Why won't you let me be mad at you?" she jokingly pouted while laughing.
"Maybe it's my charm? Or my dashing looks~" I joked.
"Stop it," she laughed, when we suddenly heard a loud boom coming from behind us.
"Oh... and I may have left the stove on... heh-"
