ARABELLA

Why the fuck would he do that?

Why would he care? I know I wasn't serious when I asked him about it yesterday, because it came out of my mouth with nothing but an attempt to make him disturbed. But now I'm keyed up to know the reason for suddenly declaring that threat.

Leah huffs tiredly and sits on the adjustable bench, opening the cap of her water bottle, "I don't remember the last time I had a workout this hard"

I call it a warm-up, though.

She gives me a confused look, "What were you thinking about? You look so lost"

A loud, long, ringing voice staggers both of us. We snap our gapes at the right side catching Gabriel picking up all the fallen poles and gym equipment from the floor.

"Since when you started practicing at this side of the gym, Gabriel?" Leah chuckles.

He picks up another pole and glances at us, "Uh, I was just testing the new gym stuff which was moved here yesterday"

In stripped jeans?

Lea's mobile rings inside her bag and she takes it out in a moment, "Why is he calling me in between his work?" she murmurs before answering it.

She listens. "Oh, do you want me to bring them for you?"

"Ok, Luca, no worries. I'm free now from the gym, I can search them for you" she says and I sigh, it's him.

"Yeah, Arabella is here with me, too," she says.

A stern look tugs at my face. Did he just ask for me?

She hangs up the call and gets up, "I need to pass some documents to him, urgently"

"So, do you need any help?" I ask, even though I've no intention or interest in helping him, be it direct or indirect.

She smiles, "I need to search for some documents in his room which he needs, I don't know where he has kept them, so can you help me in looking for them?"

~~~
She pushes the door open and what comes in front of me is a vast, spacious room with a king-size bed positioned against the wall. It has hideously dark-blue color vibes, with window walls touching the roof, a shadowy and sumptuous look.
"Let's check those drawers," Lea says and begins to walk to the huge cupboard placed in the corner, meters away from the main door. I follow her suit.
This room needs some feminine touch.
So do I.
It has nothing which couldn't fit in an ordinary size room, why does it had to be as large as a tennis court?
I sit down on my knees and pull out one of the drawers just to see nothing inside it, just some particles of dust.
Lea is looking through some paper in her hands, making the sound of flipping sheets fill the air around us. I pull out the second drawer and see some pictures kept in it.
It's a picture of a guy. A handsome freak in his twenties, if I specify.
The shine in his blue eyes makes me pick the picture up in my hands and look closely.
I blow air on it to make the dust substances leave its surface, to make it look clearer. The smile he has on his lips looks more... mischievous.
I turn it around and see a name written on it with a thick blue marker.
