ARABELLA

"This dress is looking so fucking hot on you" he lets out his throaty voice against my ear.

Little does he know the skinny black suit he's wearing is going to be the death of me very soon.

I know he's getting restless for me as he breaths heavily. He closed more of the distance and pushed me so that there was no room to move back

He keeps lowering his kisses from my neck as I slightly push him away. I get a frustrated look from him. The same we get from a dog when we snatch the piece of bone and meat from him.

I toss him a smile and walk away.

My mobiles rings in my hand as I stop on the doorway. I see a message from an unknown number on top.

I didn't need to enter the chat box to see what's written over there when my eyes reveal everything: 'I have Leah. Come to the roof right now'

My mind reels with thoughts as my breathing hitches.

My heart can't stop feeling feared when I know there's equal chances of this message to be true as much as it can be a prank. I can't be forgetting of whose sister she is.

"Luca" his name instantly left my lips as a whisper. I turn around at him seeing him observing me, standing still with annoyed look.

"I got a message from an unknown number. It says Leah is with them at the roof" I walk to him quickly.

He shakes his head slightly, "Call Fantino and ask him. Send me a message if it's all fine there. I'll be checking the roof" urgency laced his voice, he rushes towards the door after leaving me behind and sliding his coat aside to take something out in a blink of eyes.

"I'll come with you too" I take a step forward to storm out of the balcony behind him but he pauses.

"Stay here, Bella, it might be some trap or worse, it might not be safe" he says, "Go to Fantino and ask what the fuck is going on"

I nod and hear his footsteps fading away in thin air.

I quickly dial Fantino's mobile number.

LUCA

I tighten my grip on the gun.

My nerves pulses every second like a ticking bomb while waiting for this accelerator lift to finally open the roof's view.

My hands begin to shake. Not with fear. But with the thought of somebody touching her and daring to forcefully take her away from me just to get me in front of them.

Fucking coward bastards.

The accelerator's door gets opened and I see nothing but a dark open sky. A cold wind hits my skin as I step outside, searching all around here.

I begin to look behind the huge solar panels here.

One by one I check everywhere but get no clue of anyone.

My mobile vibrates in my pocket and I take it out.

It's a call from Fantino. Without letting any second thought in my mind, I pick it up, "Where the fuck is Leah?!"

His voice gets laced with doubt and confusion, "What are you talking about? She's here with me. I was just asking about when are you coming here back, a guy was asking for you"

I sigh frustratedly.

"Take care of Leah and don't let her get away from your sight" I grit my teeth and hung up.

If Leah is right there with Fantino, then why did they ask Arabella to come to the roof?

There's nothing here.

My heart clenches at the thought that crosses my mind in the next second. They knew Arabella will tell me about it and damn much would be left alone on that spot.

I rush back to the accelerator lift. I press the button for the second floor. I dial her number in the meantime but she doesn't pick up. It just keeps ringing.

I call Fantino and he picks it up quickly. The door of lift gets opened and I stride towards the balcony.

"Did you get a call from Arabella recently? Is she with you?" words rushes out of my mouth, I walk towards where I was a few minutes ago.

"No I didn't get any call from her" Fantino's words come just when I step near the balcony, seeing nothing but Arabella's handbag dropped on the floor, "And no, she's not with me. What happened?"

I swallow a lump and take long steps towards the railing, seeing nobody here. I hit my fist at the cold metal and rush out of the balcony after clutching her handbag in my hand.

"I need to leave. Stay with Leah and take her back to home right now" I fumed.

I get inside my car, taking a long breath and making my knuckles turn white by the force I'm applying at the steering wheel. Where she's gone within a few minutes?

ARABELLA

A few minutes earlier.

Why he isn't picking up the damn call?!

I should probably check them myself. I can't just be standing here waiting for a news.

I begin to stride towards the main door but run into some tall guy who was looking for somebody, indeed.

"I'm sorry, I was looking for somebody. Are you ok?" he asks, blocking my way.

His slight stubble is gleaming in the moonlight. And his eyes seemed a shade of green, probably another Italiano, but I couldn't tell for sure

I shake my head, "It's fine, I'm in hurry, excuse me" I say and walk pass by him but he interrupts.

"Do you know where this guy is? I've been looking for him for so long. Can you help, please?" he asks in small voice and I huff, turning back to him hastly.

He shows me a picture in his mobile. Due to the dead brightness of its screen, I move my head a little forward.

I narrow my eyes seeing a picture of Luca. What-

Suddenly, my body begins to lose its balance when somebody presses a damp, sweet-smelling cloth---similiar to ether, on my mouth and nose. I try to let out a scream but my voice gets muffled. Who are they?

My hands could only give a pat to the hand around my neck while feeling myself getting carried away and blacking out.
