THE road trip

Chapter 2

A pull out bed and a love seat were the only things I saw in the entire room. I carefully stepped inside first as the rest of my family followed. I looked to the left and I noticed a small bathroom. I was quite relieved because I had to crap so bad. I went into the bathroom and sat on the pot. Once I was done with my business, I came out and noticed the foxy doorman already left and my parents were finished unloading their items. I must have been in there for a long time, I thought. My parents were trying to pull out the beds while I unloaded the things in my suitcase. I kept hearing them complain about how crappy our room was. But I'm a half-glass-full kinda guy so I say, "It could be worse." Before I even have time to take another breath, the rest of my family yelled, "How?!" "Well..." I tried thinking of a good comeback but I just shook my head.

It was getting really late so we decided to call room service for a pizza. After we ate we were all pretty tired so we went to sleep. I couldn't fall asleep right away because I kept wondering what the vape pen the manager was using tasted like.

"RISE AND SHINE SLAVES!" My mom yelled at us at 5 in the morning. My dad and brother groaned because they are not early people. On the other hand, me and my mom are early birds. Today is our last day in Denver so we had to get up early to do any last minute activities. We forcefully slug my dad and Jeremie out of bed. We put on our swimsuits and went out to go skiing one last time before we have to move to the next destination.

Once we were done skiing, we came back to our luxurious suite. We packed up and checked out. Then we hit the road. Our next stop was a place a little warmer.

We pulled out and were 5 kilometers down the highway when. "MOM!" I scream. "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?" She screams back. "WE HAVE TO GO BACK!" I say. "WHY?" She asked. "I FORGOT SOMETHING!" I'm mourning because I'm so scared she won't let me go back. "Jerry?" My mom asked my dad. "Yes dear?" He answered like he was forced to say. "Can we turn around?" She asked. "Yes dear." He said again.

Once we reached the lodge, I sprinted inside while the rest of my family waited in the car. I went straight to the manager and asked, "Do you know where the doorman HQ is?" "Yeah. Down that hallway to the left." He said pointing with his vape pen still in his mouth. "Thanks." I say and I went down the hallway and looked to the left but there was no doors. I looked to the right and there was a door! It was open and there was like 3 doormen sitting and talking and drinking coffee. I noticed the foxy one wasn't in there. "Excuse me sirs." I say. They looked up from their activity and I asked, "Do you know where the sexy doorman is?" "Oh you mean Kevin?" They reply. "Is he hot?" I ask. "Ohhhh yeah." They say. "Where is he then?" I am so excited that I'm gonna see Kevin one last time. "He is outside picking up trash." "Okay. Thanks!" I say and walk outside to Kevin.

"Heyyyy Kevin." I say while flicking my head up like silently what-upping him. "Hello, how may I help you- wait you checked out today... Are yall okay?" He asked. "Oh I'm fine. I was just wondering if I could have your digits boo...?"
