Nightmare's POV

-flashbacks-

When I was 5 years old back then..
I have one and only friend,he's also my first ever friend..who understands me alot..
He's always there for me and gives me company everytime my bro's not available to have time with me

It was morning, of course..he just always shows up every morning cuz he told me that morning is his available time to visit me
I was reading my favorite book in my favorite spot under the tree which just near my house
It was really really quiet until..
"Heya friendo!" He exclaimed making me jump in surprise since he quickly showed up from my side without warning me
"Gah! Error, please never do that again!" I yelled at him while closing my book
"Hahaha, sorry, it's just too funny" he said, I just rolled my eyes
"So...how was your day?" I asked, starting a conversation
He sat down beside me
"Just good, what about u?" He asked, I answered the same
"So...wanna play a game?" He asked, I thought for a while then nodded
"Great!" He exclaimed, Error is such an...extrovert..
So yeah, we played some games, of course we always had fun together
It's really really fun to be with him..
Until one day...

I walked passed to the living room and my twin bro noticed me
"Hey brother! Wanna watch tv with me?" He cheerfully asked
"Sure, whatever" I coldly said and sat down on the other side of the sofa
My bro...is always with his stupid friends and we just have some time together sometimes..
He started switching through channels and I quickly noticed something
"Wait Dream,go back go back" I said, he did what I told him
It was a news...that my friend's house was on fire and being destroyed

"...yet, we still don't know what caused of the fire but we're still doing our best to find out, two...perhaps the kids' parents died in this sudden impact
The neighbors told us that they heard some gunshots...
The two kids survived named Geno and Fresh, thankfully they've been sent to hospital to regain consciousness but the other kid was still missing-"

Before the news teller could finish the sentence,I grabbed the remote from Dream and quickly turned it off
"B-brother, what's wrong?" He asked, I was still silent
"Is there someone..perhaps your friend used to live in there..?" He asked
I glanced at him with teary eyes, he noticed it of course he quickly stood up and embraced me
"I... I'm very very sorry to hear that" he whispered
I hugged back which I started crying in his shoulder
Error...I hope you're still okay..
But..I just couldn't believe what I've heard in the news..
"Sshh, it's gonna be alright soon brother.." Dream calmly said while rubbing my back comfortingly

-Present-

"Hehe...uh...what's up?" Error shyly asked while we stood up
"I...I thought you died.." I muttered, he was shocked to hear that
"How did yo-" I cut him off
"News" I simply said which he quickly understood cuz he nodded
After finding out that Error wass still alive.., I regretted all the bad stuffs I did..
"Okay, what the actual fuck is going on right now?" XGaster asked, I glared at him, he still have them as hostages
Also, some of my men started to get consciousness
"Why you hide your face instead of making me know that you're still okay..?" I bluntly asked while avoiding eye contact with Error
We're really in an uncomfortable situation right now
"I...have my reasons..which is complicated" he simply said
I glared at him and yelled
"You should've told me!
You should've let me know!"
"I know, I'm sorry" he muttered
"Wait...is he the friend you're talking about brother? Who was in a fire incident...?" Dream asked
I slowly nodded
"Nightmare, why are you not following my orders as fast" XG growled

"So you've been following his orders like a pet? Pfft-" Error laughed which making me more mad
"I.am.not.his fucking. Pet!
XG, why don't you just do it in your own! And don't tell me what to do again just because I made a fucking deal with you!" I yelled at him which made him surprised
He suddenly ordered my men to hold his hostages
He grabbed Dream instead and aimed a gun at his head
"Oh sugar honey iced tea" Error grumbled
"XG..what the fuck??" I glared at XG who was now being an idiot, oh wait he's already an idiot
"Let him go!" Ink yelled
Dream stared at me with pleading eyes
"Do what I say or watch your brother die?" XG threatened
Stupid..
"Just give up now you stupid bitch" Error said
"Do u think I'm joking?
You stupid pests, kill them! " XG demanded my mens
I gave them the looks of 'don't u fucking dare, I'm your one and only boss' which they stayed quiet for a while
"Don't tell me you're gonna ignore me too!?" XG growled while harshly stick his gun to Dream
"Guess it's over now huh.." Geno muttered
"This isn't the way.." Ink muttered
I suddenly noticed that there was someone behind XG
"Any last words before I'll send your brother to hell?" XG asked
"Yes actually" I said while smirking
"W-wha-" Dream said but he cut himself off
"Never let your guard down" I simply said as a gunshot was heard..

Error's POV

Ink's foster dad, or XG..
Laid down on the ground lifelessly...
We are actually surprised except for Nightmare of what just happened
Nightmare seems like...he already know that was coming
"Yo! Wassup broskis!" Fresh exclaimed which was the last person I wanted to see
"Fresh!" Geno exclaimed and quickly gave him a hug
Dream ran towards Nightmare and started shaking him
"Nightmare!! I thought you're actually gonna let him kill me!!! How dare you brother!!!" Dream yelled at him while still shaking him
"Dream! Let the fuck go of me!" Nightmare yellled
I chuckled at the scene I'm seeing right now
I saw Ink double checked if XG was still alive
I walked towards him
"So?" I asked
"Hmm...I can't believe it...
He's really dead" Ink stated
"Well yeah, since Fresh shot him in the head haha" I laughed
"Well, he deserved it" Ink simply said
"Yeah, that bitch shall go to hell now"  I grumbled
"Yo! Broski! Didn't thought you're still alive out there! Welcome back mah bro! It's really nice to see ya again after all these rad years!" Fresh exclaimed
I turned around to face him as he suddenly gave me a warm hug
Ink giggled and joined the hug also Geno
Ugh stupid group hug
It took a minute before we let go
"Well Error, I'm still not done with you yet" Geno said
I quickly remembered what he told me earlier
I gulped and quickly ran away from him which he started chasing me
"Come back here! " he yelled

Ink's POV

I'm really happy that everything went back to normal now except...
Nightmare and his mens are still here..
"Okay guys, our mission here is over, go back to your fucking homes now" Nightmare said to his mens
"You mean...your reign being our boss is suddenly over because of that..!?" One with black teary eyes which was his assistant asked
"Yeah you can say that, and no fucking buts! Just go and get out of my sight!" Nightmare yelled at them
"W-well fucking miss u..." His assistant muttered
Soon, all of his men was gone, Nightmare was still looking down
I noticed that he suddenly changed?
Or is he acting?
But still..
...what all he did to me...to us...was unforgivable...

I look around me to see Dream, Geno, Error, and Fresh are chatting while Blue and Red are also having some time to finally talk with each others again
Sci took care of the dead bodies
"Ink" someone suddenly called which made me jump in surprise
I turned to see it was Nightmare with his uh...sad? Mad? Or whatever the expression his wearing right now
"You scared me!" I yelled at him while slowly walking back
He huffed
"I know you will never ever forgive me of what I did...but I deserve it anyways.." He trailed
Error suddenly went beside me
"Oh hey Night, isn't it great that the one who burned my house down and killed my parents is finally gone?" Error said
I was shock to hear that,Nightmare just tilted his head
"He's the one who did it?
Well, he's a fucking serial killer..which also the reason why I kinda befriended him.." Nightmare muttered
"Tsk, whatever" I said
"*chuckled* He's also the one who killed your parents...Ink.." Nightmare said while giving me a smug look
I was surprised again by his words
"He...did..?" Error asked
"Mhm, our life really are a mess" Nightmare stated
"Ink, you're not even fucking ready to be a detective so why bother becoming one?
It also took u so long to find out who killed your parents, ugh" Nightmare added as he started to leave
"Hey! Where are you going?" Dream asked who ran towards Nightmare

"Mind your own business" Nightmare grumbled
"Do u still...hate me..cuz of everything I did..?" Dream sadly asked
"What do u think?" Nightmare asked, and with that...
He suddenly disappeared
"Welp, he needs to be alone for a while and need more space for his mind.." Error muttered
"Right..." I said
"Hey guys! Blue's gonna set up a party tonight for our celebration!" Geno yelled
"What!? Aren't we still tired cuz of the mess we made!?" Sci complaint
"You guys can relax on my home! Don't worry!" Blue exclaimed
"Oh, how about in my mansion instead! Oh yeah...we're already outside of my mansion.." I said
"That's a good idea Ink!" Blue exclaimed

"LET'S CELEBRATE!"
