It's complicated (Alex Morgan + Leah Williamson)

Big day

10 am. I woke up, to prepare myself for the day. I started with a cold shower...I take these often, especially in the summer. I stepped out the shower, wrapped a towel around myself, and applied moisturiser to my whole body. From outside the dogs started barking. I have two rottweilers, Axel and Diesel.
'Kieryn!' Shit. It was the girls. I rushed into my room and chucked on a pair of joggers and an oversized tee.
'COMING', I screamed, before running into the living room. Lucy, Leah, Millie, Rachel, Beth, Ella, Alessia and Georgia are all sat around the room on the sofas and chairs.
They all shout 'MADDENNNNNNN!!' when i walk in.
'God Kier, what took you so long' one of the girls asked. I replied, 'Jeez lessi, two seconds in and you're already questioning me!', everyone laughed. 'I forgot you lot were coming, gonna be honest'.
'Rude.' Luce said. I shrugged, 'Got a lot on my mind at the moment, as I glanced over at Leah. She was already staring at me. It was awkward for a moment before someone broke the silence. 'So, Madden, ready for your birthday?' I nodded, hesitantly. 'Cmon, the others will meet us there.' The girls had hired a coach for my birthday, and eventually we pulled up by a lake.
I sat by the window staring out at the surroundings, until Leah stopped next to me, 'Cmon rynny, it's your birthday.' She smiled and held out her hand. I gave her a little smile back, and took her hand, and we were the last off the coach together.
As soon as we stepped of the coach, I noticed our whole team was stood around us, and Tooney screamed... 'BOAT TRIPPPPPPP'. We all laughed. 'Lets go gals'.
In my canoe, was Georgia, and in the canoe next to us was Alessia and Ella. We all went down the lake together, just talking and laughing. 'This was my idea.' Lessi stated.
'Um, you what? This was 100% my idea!' Tooney said, offended. 'Ok it wasn't my idea but it wasn't Lessi or G's either.'
I gave a puzzled look. 'Leah planned the whole thing...' I looked shocked. 'Oh...cute.' I finally replied after a while. 'Yeah, I think she misses you to be honest mate.' Georgia said. What G said was on my mind for the rest of the trip. We finally arrived back where we started and got back on the coach.
'Next stop...NANDOS!' Meado screamed, and everyone else joined in. Nandos is my absolute favourite place to eat out, and everyone knew it. We all ate and enjoyed the meal, before going to a beer garden at around 4.
We all started drinking, and before we knew it, it was 8 pm. Lauren whispered to me, 'Ready to dance it out Kier?', she smiled. I smiled back, 'Abso-fucking-lutely.' We ran back to the coach, and drove to a club 1 hour away.
'TIME TO PARTTTTAAAAYYYYYYY' we all screamed. And ran into the club. I can't exactly remember what time we were there till, but it was early...by early I mean 5 am. With the music blasting, and everyone drinking, dancing and talking, it was hard to hear anything, so I stumbled to the toilet, and found Leah, Millie and Rach talking. Brighty looked at Rach and they both nodded and walked past me and said 'Happy Birthday Madden!', hugging me, before leaving the toilet. When they were gone, we stood awkwardly for a minute before Leah broke the silence. 'You enjoying your birthday rynny?' I nodded and smiled. She continued, 'Listen...I'm sorry about what happened, I am. But I really miss you.' I stood for a few seconds. I wasn't sure what to say other than, 'I miss you too,' Leah smiled 'But I can't do this...not right now.' Her smile faded. I hated seeing her sad. 'I'm sorry, I just need some time to process everything. I'm not in a great place right now lee.' She looked at the floor, 'It's fine, it's not your fault.' I put out my arms and she fell into me. 'Come on, lets get you home.'
I left the club, trying to stay hidden from anyone; it was probably best I went home too, So I called us a taxi. Leah spoke, 'I don't want to go home, can I crash at yours...just for tonight, I don't mind sleeping on the sofa.'
I shook my head, 'You're not sleeping on the sofa, I need to keep an eye on you.' She smiled, as the taxi arrived.
When we got home, Leah fell into my bed and fell asleep almost instantly. I led down next to her, after changing, and just stared at the ceiling for a while. She rested her head on my chest, and I put my arm around her, stroking her shoulder. 'Goodnight rynny.' I smiled.
'Goodnight Lee.'
