Chapter 5: Class representative

The next morning, Barcode wake up excitedly and get ready to go to school. He does everything; showering, wearing uniform and eating while humming happily.

When he reach school, he go to the teacher's room to give away his name in the list of the singing competition. The teacher gladly smile saying "I'm glad you join. No one in your class join except you." Suddenly, Barcode become speechless. "Hey, don't make that face. You got this kid", teacher tap Barcode's shoulder twice. Barcode just smile nervously.

Then, barcode go to his classroom. A teacher enter the class and start his lesson. After two subject learned, another teacher come into their class and announce that all classes are given some free time. What students need to do is they have to discuss about the singing competition.

After the teacher left, the students all scream happily because it's free time now. But, monitor glare at the one who make noise, go to the front and start saying "Okay, now time for discussion. Firstly, I want to ask, who in this class apply to participate in that competition?" No one answer him. Slowly, Barcode pull up his hand and say "Me".

Everyone silently stare at him at first, but after a second they scream, "What?" "The best student join?" "Are you serious?" All of them are shock with Barcode participation. Barcode laugh at them and say "Yes, it's true. Why you all don't believe it?" "We just shock because we never know that you interest in anything else other than study. Hehe", they answered.

"Can you sing for us? We want to be the first to hear your precious voice. Haha", one of Barcode's classmates request. "Sure." He start singing;

It's the song by Taylor Swift tittled; 'December'.

After that, all of his classmates clap their hands and scream "bravo" "woaah". It make Barcode feel shy a little bit. They say dramatically, "Where did you go before?" "How can I not see you before?" "We will support you, Bar". Barcode laugh at the sarcastic comments given.

All of them give the representative of their class which is Barcode, an honour and support to win the singing competition. They say that they will help anything to make sure Barcode win.

They discuss what song Barcode will sing, what genre of the song and what instrument that Barcode will use. All of them they list one by one. Suddenly, Macau say, "Why don't you find a song about friend or lover? Something like that." The rest of them agree to that. "It's look like a comforting song", say another friend. So, they decide to let Barcode choose the tittle based on that theme and what suit Barcode's voice.

They all look very comfortable with each other when discussing about the competition. They also share about their interest with each other. Some of them know how music works, some know how to write notes of song, they know who can memorize song, know who not interest in music and so on. So, that's how they become more close with each other.
