Chapter 7: D-day

One day before the competition day, Barcode suddenly say to Macau that he's very nervous for tomorrow not knowing what will happen. "What if something goes wrong?", he say out loud. Some classmates hear it and worried a little about Barcode. But they keep cool and say, "The only thing that will happen tomorrow is you won that competition and take place in the final". They let out loud scream supporting the saying. They intention is they want to push Barcode forward so he will not fall down before trying.

Barcode feeling his lost spirit are coming back already after that. He realize he cannot let down his classmates. The last few weeks, he practice hard with the help of his classmates. His classmates also contribute a lot. He also have to keep going if he want to show the talent he got and make himself and his mother proud. And of course his classmates too. "Fighting", he shout to himself.

D-Day: competition between participant in school M

Barcode are getting ready behind the stage before his turn to perform. He also make sure his guitar is set to use later. After making sure everything are ready, he take a deep breath and try to make himself less nervous. He take a look at the stage for a moment. He saw his friends already sit in the front row behind the judges to support him. He smile at that. -🌝

When his turn to sing, he slowly go up to the stage while bringing his guitar. Someone come bring a chair to him to sit down. So, Barcode sit down and start his performance when the judge give a sign.

He start singing while pluck his guitar;

After he finished sang, all audiences clap their hands and scream cheerly toward Barcode. He feel really great at their reaction. He look at the judges, they also smile widely and clap their hands. He smile more widely and happily at that. Then, he come down to give space for the next participant. His friends come running toward him and hug him saying "You did a great job" "We proud of you". He hug them back.

When the time coming which is all participants done perform, it is time to announce the winner. Who will go to the final and who cannot make it. It's all up to the judge decision after they take audiences which is students vote into account and discuss among them.

After a few name of the one who made it called, suddenly Barcode's name is called too. He jump out of happy because he's selected to participate in final. So, after five participant being choose, we all need to take picture one by one to be put on school board.

Then, Barcode being swam by his friends again with their hug and screaming saying "Congratulations". "So, what we need to do after this is help Barcode with the final competition" "After all, he's our classmate and school's representative". Barcode laugh at the comment. "Thank you all of you. I won't make it without you all".
