Chapter 6: Good friends

At home, at his study table

Barcode thought for a while what song he should sing. Then, he open his laptop and search the song tittle; 'just being friendly - tilly birds feat. milli'. He play the mv and put on a big smile on his face. " Finally, I found the song to sing." He sing along with the mv played on the screen while taking his guitar from under his bed. He sit on the chair and slowly pluck the string and play the guitar according to note of music played.

Actually, he little struggle because of how the song being play on normal speed which means fast for him to follow the beat to play the guitar. So, first thing he think he need to do is memorize the lyrics so it's better to play guitar according to his singing. He put down his guitar aside the study table. Then, he open the lyric and audio of the song on the loop and wrote down each sentences on his book one by one. After finished, he sing again and again to memorize it.

Barcode send chat to his friends that he has found the song and ask them if they can help anything to compete later against the students in his own school, then to win other schools. One minute later, his friends all replies with "Okay, we will go to your house tomorrow. Tomorrow is Saturday. It is holiday. Maybe we can help you with the note of music and the right beat to play your instrument if you have any."

"Right, someone here have a highest score in music subject so maybe it can help." "Great. You can do it my friend. See you tomorrow." Just like that, some of them agreed to come to my house to help me getting prepared and practice. Barcode reply back with "Okay, you all are welcome to my house."

The next day

Barcode wake up early at the morning and clean up his room so it will have many spaces for his friends to sit later. He also get ready of his laptop, open the song and pause it, and also prepare his guitar and notebook.

When the time come, the doorbell ringing which means his friends already here. He go downstairs and open the door and found 6 people come including Macau. He invite them in and ask them to eat breakfast with him. He already ask his mom to prepare a lot of food because of his friend visit. So, they eat breakfast altogether and after finished, two of them wash the plate and others help wipe the table and clean back the mess. After finished, they all follow him to upstairs to his room.

When they enter, they feel amused because of how simple the room look but still cozy and clean. "Wow, your room is cleaner than mine.", one of them said. All of them laugh at the comment. So, his friends ask Barcode to play the song so they can start early and not wasting time. Barcode play the song and all of them clap their hands saying "You make the right choice, Bar." "You absolutely will win." "This song is suitable with your soft voice." After the song finished, they start helping him with the notes, the beat and all of the thing that really help him in many way.

One of his friends ask the lyric and wrote next to it the right notes. Another one ask for guitar and play for Barcode slowly with the right beat. Barcode focused on them and keep doing what they teach him excitedly. While, others and Macau support him by singing together with him. They all have fun while helping Barcode practice singing. His friend also took a long time to finish the notes of the song. So, when it's noon, they eat lunch made by Barcode's mom. Then, continue again with the practice.

After a while, it's already late evening, so Barcode ask them to eat at restaurant and he pay for it. They all shout "Okay" immediately while giggling happily because there's someone want to pay for their food. Their stomach also will become full from it. After finished eating at the restaurant and they all want to go back home, Barcode thanks his friends. His friends also thanks him for paying their food and the cook Barcode's mom made. "It's very delicious.", they said. Barcode smile proudly at the comment and say "I will let my mom know". After that, they hug each other and went separate go back to their houses same as Barcode.
