Prologue

In the eyes of humans, they look like wild pumas.
But in the eyes of animals, five humans are seen.

Since many years, a certain species has been roaming the earth that possesses both animalistic and humanistic traits. Scientifically speaking, humans are technically part of animal decent that was developed through centuries of evolution.
However, not every human completely evolved into the way we know them, which is how this species, called a 'crossover', came to be.
What is the main disadvantage of being a crossover?
No human could ever tell the species apart from actual animals, because in their eyes, they both looked the same.
That's how five unfortunate crossovers were captured in captivity.

Cirque Animalier.
In the history of humanity, there is no place crueler than that. 
It was a circus, but nothing like anyone has seen. In their shows, their animals are forced to attacked each other for something, have sharp items and fire thrown at them, or even staying in a 'bulletproof' case while being shot at.
At the end of the long, exhausting and frightening days, the animals are either thrown in cages or chained to the walls.
It's a place full of dark and brutal secrets, hidden from the audience.
Their only goal is to one day kill all of their animals by shedding their blood until none was left.

For years, the five crossovers have spent their days fighting for survival.
They knew they will never escape. They were trapped in this prison of bloody hell for eternity.

Or... were they?
