Ecstasy.

If defined religiously, it meant you are stuck in a trance with your God, and all you see is him.

But right now, that was the only feeling the five crossovers felt.

They were all now standing at the edge of the cliff, looking out to the scenery.

The sun was rising slowly in the distance, ribbons of yellow, orange, red and pink blooming in the dark night sky.

The wind blew against their faces, ruffling their hair.

The tweeting of morning birds filled their ears.

The feel of soft, fresh green grass was underneath their feet, slightly damp from the rain.

The smell of nature, alive and clean drifted into their souls.

Everything they have not seen ever since they were captured was in front of them.

And now, they were finally free.

They were finally free from their prison of hell.

Yeonjun was the first one to start crying, a hand covering his mouth as muffled sobs came from him, unable to not feel emotional.

Soobin stood up next, and hugged Yeonjun tightly.

Taehyun grabbed onto Hueningkai's arm before lifting himself up.

Beomgyu pulled the two youngest close to his chest before they alll wrapped their arms around the two oldest.

And then, they too broke down in tears.

Tears of relief streamed down their faces, feeling the relishing emotion fill up every inch of their bodies.

"We're out you guys... I can't believe this," Yeonjun sobbed.

"Me neither hyung," Beomgyu replied, the salty liquid glistening in his eyes.

"Is this what the wild felt like?" Taehyun asked.

"Yes. This is the wild," Soobin answered.

"Wow," Hueningkai awed.

Wow indeed.

That was the only word possible for this.

The five crossovers all held each other tightly, crying into each other's napes and holding each other close in their arms, tears celebrating their freedom.

The sun shone warmly on them, and its rays felt so nice on their battered backs and wounds they had accumulated the past few years.

The wonderful smell of nature already began to cleanse them.

Finally, they breathed something better than the awfully dusty and bloody air that gave them stress every moment of the day.

In the distance, they could hear the stream, splashing and lapping quietly against the riverbanks. A sound that brought them back to their childhoods.

At that moment, all five truly realized: they were past the door to freedom.

They were back in the wildnerness.

This was what they deserved after so long.

After hugging for what felt like infinity, Yeonjun finally let go of them.

"Oh god... fresh air at last," he said.

"Yes indeed," Beomgyu replied.

Soobin glanced at the rising sun, and then at their surroundings.
