The smell of popcorn and children laughing filled the air. All the bright lights and noises surround the area. "One ball please," A man asked. "One ball, one chance," Oliver tells the man. The man looks over at his daughter with a “watch this face”. He threw the ball and completely missed. "Oo- better luck next time." Oliver Snickers and looks over at the man.

The man takes his daughter's hand and walks away mumbling angrily. "You know you could be nicer-" Oliver sighs and looks to his left. "Maybe people would come to your game more if you were nicer." She smirks at him while handing a boy a prize.

"I'm here to make money- not to make friends, Tori." He tells the blonde worker. "Yeah okay good luck making money then." She tells Oliver while holding up her huge stack of money. "Holy shit!" He looks at it amazed.

"Yup. After a few summers working here. I know how to make a few bucks." She laughs. They look over and see one of the game stands get taken down. "That's the third one this week." Oliver says. "This happens every year. I've heard that the workers were killed here." She whispers. Oliver looks at her, "Yeah sure."

"You don't have to believe me. I'm just saying I've seen some weird ass shit going on around here," Tori tells him. "Then why are you still working here?" "The same reason you are Oliver." She smiles and takes a dollar from a mother and her kid.

Oliver looks around and sees someone in perticular, Aria Melanie. He has liked Aria ever since sixth grade. Her father owned the Circus and  “Oh wow..” He looks at here with a smile. Tori looks over at him and rolls her eyes. “One ball please,” Aria asks. Oliver just looks at her. “Um hello-?” “Huh-? OH uM right, sorry…” Oliver stutters and hands her a ball. She holds up the ball and wipes it at the bottles, knocking all of them down.

“Nice shot!” Oliver smiles. “Thanks, i've gotten a lot of practice. Oh and I would like the pink bear please.” She points up to the big bear behind him. He gets on his stool and takes down the bear. “Here ya go.” He smiles and hands it to her. “Thanks Oscar!” She smiles and walks away. “N-o problem Aria.” He stutters. “Um she literally called you Oscar.” Tori tries to tell him but he is ignoring her.

“You know shes probably a wanted murderer” He looks over at Tori with discussed. “Im just saying- this place is creepy, and people go missing each year.” “That doesn't mean anything. Her dad just owns it.” He states while putting up new prizes. “Wait a minute- your not working here for the money-” She looks at him. His face turns a darker pink. “W-what are you talking about-” He tries to act confused. “You like Aria- Oh my God.” She laughs. “What nO!”

“Wow, you are awful at lying…” She smirks and blows up more balloons and sticks them on the back wall. “Shit- im missing a dart.” She says while bending down. “Well good luck finding it-” Oliver says scarcastly. “Well you no help-” She leaves her stand to go get new darts. Oliver just stands there looking around. There wasn't a lot of people here right now due to the missing worker.

He looks over and sees Mr. Cuddles making a balloon animal. He was a tall bigger clown with white eyes, almost non-human looking. His outfit was all mismatched with uneven shoes. Mr. Cuddles sees him looking and gives him a blank stair with a wide grin. His hands still creating a balloon animal. It was in the shape of a person. Seconds later it popped. “I found it!” Tori laughs and walks back to her booth. She looks at Oliver confused. “You okay man. It looks like you just saw a ghost.” She laughs.

“Are my stories getting into your head man.” She snickers and sets up the darts. “Wha- no no. Your stories are stupid.” He informs her.  "Ladies and Gents! Boys and girls! Welcome to the Melanie Circus!" We look to our left and the circus tent doors Are wide open. Parents and their kids are walking inside for the show.

"Oh finally my shift is almost over!" Oliver shouts in joy. "Ooo- sorry to burst your bubble but it's show night." Tori looks at him and smirks. "So-" "Show night is where workers stay till it's dark to clean up. Well everyone except me." She laughs and slams her leave early slip on the counter.

"What! This is bull shit!!" Oliver announced. "Sorry man, it's how it works around here." Tori says while grabbing her purse. "Later Oscar" Tori teases before leaving her game booth. "Bitch-" Oliver mumbles, putting his head down on the cold counter. "It's going to be a long night…" Oliver sighs.
