After about 5 minutes of swimming through the lake to the small island with his wife, Mermando finally saw the S.S. Boat parked at the docks. He sprinted as fast as possible to the boat and reached one hand to surface for Dipper to grab.
That's when his wife realized that Mermando was lying about the sales at the Crummy Crab Shack. "Wait," she started, "Manatees can't go above water,neither can mermen!! GUARDS!"
As the heavily armed sea horses and their knights began to attack Mermando, something happened.
Because that's when Mabel and Dipper heroically dove into the water carrying Katanas! Actually, Dipper more or less belly flopped into the lake gasping for air and flailing his arms, but Mabel bravely took down the first guard. She grabbed Dipper's katana, which he couldn't hold anyway, and threw it to mermando. He caught it and defeated the second guard and sea horse no problem.
Now, all they had to do was beat the boss, the head leader, the one who had started this all!
