I'd never been so ready for a Monday than I was that day. My outfit was well-planned, I woke up early, exercised, and even made myself a healthy smoothie.
I was beyond excited to see Akaashi even though we texted the entire weekend and even called a lot of times. It wasn't enough for me to fully accept his existence. No way I was with a man as lovely as him.
He spoke so sweetly to me and always listened to me when I rambled about the most random things such as how sharks are absolutely useless in this world and Akaashi would only agree with me knowing damn well that there was plenty of evidence that sharks actually balance marine life.
God, I don't remember the last time I was overflowing with joy.
"Ichikaaa!" I rushed to her and she spread out her arms to give me a hug but I quickly stopped and glared at her. I forgot I was supposed to stay mad at her because she ditched me.
She hung her arms by her side and stood in front of me with a big frown. "Why?!"
"You ditched me, you idiot. And you...you HOOKED up with your ex again?" I eyed her in shock.
"Oh my god, Ece you know I can't hold myself back when it comes to Semi in suit. Spare me, I'm sorry! I'm terrible for leaving you, but are you alright? Did you survive yesterday?" She pulled me into a hug. I immediately smirked as she pulled back after noticing it.
"What happened?"
Just a few minutes later...
"NO!" Ichika raised her voice, causing everybody in the longue to stare at us. I nervously smiled at a couple of them before turning my head back to her and telling her to cut it off.
"You not only made-out with Kuroo but you ALSO pissed his ex off? And you dumped liquor on her? And you fucked your pro-"
"We didn't do that! We faked it so fool Kuroo! Jeez..." I scoffed, rubbing the back of my neck. I noticed the grin on her face.
"Aww, Ece! Look at you enjoying your life!" She rested her chin on her hands and dreamly gazed at me. "I'm really happy for you. It's really healthy that you're allowing yourself into relationships again especially after Fei. I just know this one is going to go well for you."
"I think so too," I smiled, standing up from the table. "I'll catch you later, babe. Bye!"
"Bye Ece! Use protectionnn!" She whisper-yelled over. I shot her a glare.
"Ichika, I'm going to class."
"You're going to class early." She winked at me. I scoffed with a held-back smile and walked away. I was so glad to have Ichika as a friend.
On my way, I noticed that Section 4, where my class was, was empty, which was expected since I was there early. I stood outside of the classroom, mentally preparing myself to meet Akaashi again. I shouldn't even have been that nervous. After all, he was my partner now.
I wiped my sweaty palms on my green sweater but just as I was about to take a step forward to head inside, an arm snaked around my waist and pulled me in before they kissed my neck.
"Good morning, Ece-chan." He whispered in my ear.
I immediately turned and sighed in relief at the sight of Akaashi. He softly smiled at me. "Early again? What did I do this time?"
"Akaashi-san!" I gently smacked his hand off my waist. "Someone might see."
He looked to his left and right.
"Not a single soul in sight. Just me and you here." Akaashi kissed my forehead.
I hugged him and felt really tiny against him. It was like wrapping arms around a bear. "You didn't do anything wrong. I was just excited to see you so I came early. But why are you so early?"
