Hello! Welcome to Cuts and Bruises, before you start reading I wanted to fill you in on a few things about the book! 

To start it off; this is a pre-written story, all chapters will be released weekly (Every Tuesday!). Every chapter will be edited before publishing too <3

There are a lot of time jumps in this book which will be marked by this symbol ◇ the number of this symbol shows how big of a time jump it was.

◇◇◇ : A small jump (10+ minutes)

◇◇◇◇: A long jump (The next day)

I tried keeping the time jumps to a minimum but unfortunately the actual show has a lot of them itself.

Character Details

Y/n Ives:

Ten (Y/n Ives) is Jane Ives' older sister. She was raised in Hawkins Laboratory for 13 years until she and her sister Eleven, escaped. 

Her and her sister share the same powers but Ten also has the ability of pain manipulation. Ten is more experienced with her powers and speech, which is why she's able to go out in public (It doesn't make much sense but just go with it 😭)

Ten is labeled as Lesbian in this story and will go as She/Her pronouns, she's also on the taller side and prefers tomboyish clothing (But you can change her appearance, pronouns and sexuality as you please)

Y/n will be called Ten majority of the book as it's what close friends and family are more familiar with calling her. Y/n will rarely be used unless it by teachers, students, or new friends.
