The aftermath (Part 7!!!)

Everyone looked shocked and no one knew what exactly to do. I went over to him and bent down to check his pulse. As I put my two fingers on his neck he moved.
"Well hello there," he said to me sitting up. "You know I'm not dead." Everyone was in shock that he was mostly okay.
"Everyone thought you weren't okay," I said pointing out the fact that everyone besides Bob, Phoenix, and Maverick was standing off to the side as I was next to him. "Come on get up if you can so we can get you checked out and cleared," I said as I put my hand out to help him up.
"Thank you," he smiled at me as he used my hand to help himself up. He stumbled a little and watched as everyone walked back to the base. "Thought I was going to be like my dad," he said as we began to walk slowly back to the base.
"What do you mean by that?" I was confused as to who his dad was.
"My dad used to fly for the navy and died trying to eject from his plane," he said looking at the ground.
"I'm sorry to hear that. You seem to be walking slow. How about I give you a piggyback to make things go faster?" I asked, trying to help him out since he seemed down about his dad at the moment.
"A piggyback from a hot chick? Why not," he laughed a little as he said that. I crouched down a little to make it a bit easier for him to get in my back. As he got into my back our hands touched and I could tell he had very soft skin for someone in the navy. After a couple seconds of him getting on my back he was finally situated.
"Let's get you checked out and get you cleared to fly," I tried to make a little conversation because I had one of the hottest men in the navy on my back carrying him to the nurse on the base. He didn't say anything. I could hear him breathing next to my ear and I could slightly feel his mustache next to my ear. He had relaxed and he rested his chin on my shoulder.
"This is kind of nice," he said, finally breaking the silence. We were getting close to going into where the nurse was.
"I could give you piggybacks more often if you'd like," I said jokingly. I used my elbow to push the door handle down so I could get past the door.
"Hello darling, what brought you here today?" The nurse asked. She was a short lady and she looked to be about 23 years old.
"Rooster here got a bird to an engine and had to eject. He got scratched up and we know Maverick would want him to get checked out if I brought him here," I told her.
"Screw Maverick I'm doing this because you told me I had to get checked out," Rooster said as he began to get off my back.
"Well alright. Let me check you out. Would you mind waiting outside sweetie?" The nurse asked me.
"Yes I can wait outside. If you need anything I'll be in the chair in the hallway," I said heading outside to sit in the chair. There were a couple nurses and doctors walking around in the hallway. I waited for a while when Bob and Phoenix came down the hallway.
"Hey Angel! Where is he? Is he alive?" Bob asked me as he walked to me.
"He was talking to me as I carried him here so I assume he is okay. He is getting checked out right now. They told me to wait out here for now. Where is Maverick?"
"Maverick is talking to Cyclone about what happened today," phoenix said to me as the nurse came out of the room.
"Hello again." She said to me as she looked like she had something else to say. She waited a couple seconds before continuing, "He is all cleared to fly. Just make sure he changed his bandages on his scratches. You are free to go inside now." The nurse walked off going into another room.
"Here let me tell him he has some visitors," I said, referring to Phoenix and Bob. I walked inside only to see Rooster only wearing his boxers. I could see every muscle on his body. He had a very muscular back which was what I saw. I was so mesmerized by his tan skin I was staring at him. I finally snapped out of it and said, "S-sorry! I forgot to knock," I fumbled over my words as I turned around and stared at the wall.
"Come on princess I know you like what you see. Why don't you turn around and take a mental picture," he said jokingly to me. I slowly peeled over my shoulder to see if he was dressed. He had his flight suit back on and I turned all the way around.
"The nurse said you're all clear to fly," I said putting my hands behind my back and I began to fidget. "Would you like to go to your room? I can take you."
"How about I talk to Bob and Phoenix and then we can go to my house on the base. Does that sound like a plan?" He said as he began to walk to the door. I nodded following him to where Bob and Phoenix were standing.
