The Love Line

Office Visit

Things had become so busy for Ohm for a couple of days already. He had meeting after meeting and he hadn't visited Fluke and the kids for two days. As much as he wanted to do so, Fluke advised him to just take a rest instead of going to their house. They just messaged or videoed call each other when they both had time. 

Ohm looked at the clock on the wall and saw that it was almost time for lunch. He stretched his body a little and stood up. He wanted to move his body more, so instead of calling his assistant, Tanya, on the intercom, he decided to walk out of his office to tell her to order him some food. 

As soon as he opened the door, a familiar figure talking to Tanya instantly made him smile. Fluke was there. He walked quietly behind him and signaled to his assistant not to tell Fluke.  

"Boo!" 

"Aaahhh!" Fluke screamed and in shock, he hit the person who surprised him a few times.

"Ouch, Love. Wait. . . Stop. . . I'm sorry." Ohm said hurriedly to stop Fluke from hitting him. 

"Ohm!" Fluke exclaimed. "Why did you scare me like that?" 

"I'm sorry. . . I'm sorry. . ." said Ohm repeatedly as he hugged Fluke and caressed his back.

"I almost got a heart attack." Fluke said and wrapped his arm around Ohm's body.

"I won't do it again. I'm really sorry. I didn't know you would be scared like that." Ohm continued to caress his back. Then he pushed Fluke a little and asked, "What are you doing here? I thought you had an appointment today."

Fluke nodded and said, "I'm done and I wanted to tell you about it first so I went here."

"Tell me over lunch. I'm afraid we can't eat out, so let's just have lunch in my office. I'll ask Ms. Tanya to order us food." 

"No need. . . I brought some food. I went to The Sunny Sky to prepare some food for you. I thought you wouldn't have time to eat because you told me that you were busy, so I decided to bring you some food."

"Aww. . . Thanks, Love." Ohm said and pinched Fluke's cheeks. "Let's go inside."

Fluke faced Tanya and smiled. "Enjoy your lunch, Ms. Tanya."

"Thank you for the food, Fluke."

"You brought her food, too?" Ohm asked.

"You're not the only one who's tired. Your assistant, too." Fluke said and winked at the woman, who giggled at him. "I made that myself, enjoy." Fluke smiled.

"For sure. Thanks again."

Ohm and Fluke went to the office holding hands and smiling sweetly at each other, oblivious to the people looking at them. All employees were surprised at what they had witnessed.

Their boss who had been so grumpy these past few days was smiling and hugging the pretty-looking guy. It seemed like they had their own world. They should thank that guy because they knew the atmosphere in the office wouldn't be so dark after lunch.

"Ms. Tanya!" One girl employee dared to call their boss' assistant. She pointed his mouth to their boss' office. 

Everyone was looking and waiting for Ms. Tanya's answer.

The woman just giggled and formed his hands to a heart. She then simply said, "Lovebirds."

Some of them smiled brightly, a few high-fived, and some just nodded in understanding. Whoever their boss decided to be with was not their business, as long as he was happy.
