"Papa?"

Fluke turned to look at his son when he heard him call. "Yes, Sweetheart." He stretched his hand to reach for his son's hand. The little boy immediately accepted it and he sat down on his father's lap.

"Papa, are you alright?"

Confused, Fluke asked, "Yeah. Why did you ask?"

"Because I always see you quiet. You look like you are always thinking about something."

Fluke looked at his son lovingly. Sky had always been very thoughtful. He sighed, "Sky, sweetheart. . ." He started. "Remember, I told you that you and your siblings were gifts from God?" The little boy nodded enthusiastically. "So. . . that means. . . you are not Papa's real children. . . I am not your real father." Fluke looked at how Sky's eyes widened and his mouth formed into an O. However, Fluke was confident that his son would understand everything. He was very mature for his age. "But that doesn't mean I do not love you less. For Papa, you, Sunny, and Earth are the most precious. In my heart, you are mine. . . my real children, okay?"

Sky stayed quiet as if he was processing what Fluke had told him. "Then who?"

"Your parents?" Sky nodded slowly. "You already know that we still don't know who Earth's parents are. I told you about that before, right?" Fluke asked and Sky answered yes. "Sunny's mom is already in heaven. . ."

"Is she with Mama?"

"Yes, Sweetheart. She's with your Mama in heaven."

"Where is her father, Papa?"

"He is somewhere far away from us. . . He shouldn't be near us especially to Sun because he did something bad to her and her mom. . ."

Sky nodded and said, "What about my father? Did he do something bad to me and Mama, too?"

"No. . . No. . . No, Sweetheart. He didn't do anything bad to you and your Mama."

"Then. . . Where is he?" Sky asked sadly. "Did he leave me because Mama is already in heaven? Did he not like me?"

"No, Sky." Fluke said and caressed his son's head. "He did not leave you. . . It's just that. . . he didn't know about you. . .  His family wanted him to study in the U. S., so he and your Mama separated. . . When your Mama found out she was pregnant with you, he was already out of the country. We thought we wouldn't be able to see him again, so I told your Mama that I would be your Papa."

Sky held Fluke's face with his little hands and smiled. "Thank you, Papa."

"For what?"

"For being my Papa. . . because you are here for me, and for Sunny, and for Earth, too. You are my Papa, forever and ever.  I love you, Papa."

"I love you, too, Sky. I love you very much."

Sky kissed Fluke and hugged him. "Uhm. . . Papa?" He pulled away a little and looked at his father in the eyes. "Do you think I will meet my real father? Can we go to the U. S. to see him?"

Fluke took a deep breath before he said, "Do you want to meet him?"

"Maybe. . . But. . . but do you. . . do you think he will like me?"

"Of course, Sweetheart. Everyone will like you." Fluke said and pinched his son's cheeks. "Actually, he's back and I met him."

"He is?" Sky's face lightened. "Did he know. . . me?"
