Chapter 7: Thank you: Part1

Flashback: (1996)
In the city of Brooklyn;New York. A seven year old girl was at the cemetery at 11pm crying in-front of two gravestones, 2 weeks after that terrible day of her/their parent's deaths.

She was put into foster care until they could get ahold of any relatives that can take care of her. But that didn't make her feel any better, because she knew she was all alone.

She was soon adopted by a man, a billionaire too say the least, his name was Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who was an old family friend of the little girls parents.

She was then introduced to 7 other children her age. And although she was grateful to have home again, it didn't make her entirely feel better, since she was still mourning for her parents.

She also knew that the whole reason Reginald adopted her was because she was one of the children who's mother gave birth too in the year1989 of October. Despite the fact, she got along with the rest of the Umbrella's children, especially Ben.

But she still couldn't help but feel sad that she would never see her parents again. She felt alone.

Then a hooded figure appeared behind, they put a hand on her shoulder. "What is the matter little one, why are you sad?" they asked.

The little girl turned around to look at them with sad eyes and then turned back nodding their head to the two gravestones, still crying. The hooded figure observed and then he/she pulled their hood down, revealing their face.

It was a women but with no hair, she sat down next to the girl. "I'm very sorry for your loss, but you mustn't give up hope. "We don't get to choose our time. Death is what gives Life meaning. Your days are numbered and that time is short."

"I would say that it'll be okay, but that's probably not what you need to here right now, but I think F/n and M/n would want to let you know that they're always be there in your heart and watching over you." The women said.

The girl looked at the lady in shock. "How do you know my parents names?" She asked.

"I know lots of things, I also know that you are no ordinary child." She continued.

The girl was speechless when the lady then showed her that she can do the same magic as her but far more incredible, the girl was astonished to see someone who is just like her. "How?!" Was what all that came out of the girl.

"What's your name, child?" The women asked.

The little girl looked up and told her, "Y/n L/n, ma'am." She said.

The women than stood up from her spot and offered the girl a hand and asked "Would you like to learn?" She didn't had to say another word when little Y/n took her hand and they began to walk, Y/n had a feeling that she can trust he.

(8 Years Past)
Y/n POV:
It's been 8 long years since I met Yao, and I've never felt happier with her than anyone (besides Ben and and her friends). Everyday when I was either finished with training or completed a mission I would sneak off to see Yao for my lessons, I learned she possessed Eldritch magic.

She told me that we harness energy that's drawn from different dimensions of the multiverse to cast spells, creat shield's, weapons, and to make magic.

She also told that there used to be others like us but something terrible happened in a war. So we are the last of our people, it was sad at first but I learned that we can't change the past for it will affect us in the near future.

Whenever I go home I would tell Ben about what I learned and can do, he was amazed when I created a shield/seal, and promised not to tell anyone.

Yao was like a another mother too me, I was glad that I met her.
