'Why is your mother dead set on us looking pretty for the King?' Theon asked as their faces were shaved clean their hair cut nicely. 'It's for the queen I bet.' Theon added looking to Robb.

'I hear the prince is a right royal prick.' Robb added

'Well don't you boys look fine.' Josie said sauntering in.

'Get out of here.' Theon said but as he was shirtless he tried to flaunt his muscles for her but she didn't spare him a second glance.

'Hiding from mother?" Robb questioned.

'Yep, your mother wouldn't be caught dead in here, with the riff raff.' She teased sitting down on a trunk.

'You have to get gussied up too?' Theon questioned.

"Why would I have to? no one is going to see me.' Josie reminded him. 'You either for that matter.'

"Shut up I'm not the bastard.' Theon reminded him.

'No, just the exiled son of a mad man.' Josie said sweetly as she headed out.

'Fuck off!' Theon chased after her but she slammed the door on them.

'I see them coming, the riders!' Bran announced.

'How?' Josie questioned hands rooted on her hips, Bran looked up at her sheepishly. 'You were climbing, your mother said not to climb anymore.' Josie reminded him.

'I wont do it again.' Bran lied looking to his feet. josie took a gentle hand and brought it to his chin.

'You know every time you look down I know you are lying.' Josie told him kissing his cheek. 'Go on, line up.' Josie told him when she caught Catelyn glaring at her. josie thought Catelyn had one setting when it came to Josie. Glare.

'Where is arya?' Ned questioned looking back to Josie and Theon stood in the second row. Josie shrugged, Arya was trouble and Catelyn didn't like Josie fraternizing with her children. But arya came running up with a guards helmet on her head.

'Found her.' Josie teased and Ned smirked back at her.

'What are you doing?' Ned questioned, "where did you get that?' he pulled the helmet from arya's head and flattened her hair down. 'Go.' He told her pointing down the row of starks as the royal family approached.

Robert heartily hopped down from his horse Ned Stark and his family bowed before him on their knees as Robert approached. Robert motion for Ned to stand, Ned rose as did the rest of his family.

'Your Grace,' Ned said tipping his head to Robert.

'You got fat,' Robert noted but Ned looked down to Roberts stomach both men started laughing before they hugged joyously.

'Cat' He said happily hugging her before fussing with rickon's hair.

'Nine years it has been nine long years, I have not seen you where have you been?' Robert asked

'I've been here guarding the for north for you, your grace.' Ned said obediently. He went down the row of stark children greeting them happily before noticing Josie.

'Seven hells,' Robert said and Josie stiffened as the king locked eyes on her. 'That's her.' Robert pushed past Catelyn and Ned. 'Josephine.' Robert stood very close to Josie now and she looked anxiously past Robert to Ned.

'Yes, this is Josie.' Ned said wrapping an arm around Josie, pulling her back giving them space.

'She is your bastard but by Gods Ned she looked like Lyanna.' Robert remarked. 'you see it don't you?' Robert was hypnotized.

'Yes, she acts like my sister as well.' Ned added. Cersei cleared her throat waiting to be announced but in all honestly Robert had forgotten she was even there.

'Right, right, Cersei, Joffrey, Tommen, Marcella,' he said rushed.

'It is an honor to have you, your grace.' Catelyn said crusting before cersei.

'Take me to the crypts. Come along Josie,' Robert said wrapping an arm around Josie she stared over at Ned but he nodded following along. Josie swallowed the lump in her throat as they moved.

'We've been riding for a full moon don't you think the dead can wait?' Cersei called after them.

'Come on let's go,' Robert said smiling down at Josie.

'I heard about Jon Aryn.' Ned said once they were in the crypts.

'One minute he was fine. And then right through him... whatever it was. I liked that man,' Robert remarked.

'We both did ,' ned agreed

'Never had to teach you much,' Robert noted 'but do you remember me at 16? all I wanted to do was crack skulls and fuck girls.' He looked at Josie, a smile on his lips, Josie tried to focus on the statue of her aunt Lyanna. 'but ned here, he's a good boy and he always knew what was what.' Robert added 'Don't look at me like that,' Robert told Ned 'it's not his fault I didn't listen. I need you down in Kings Landing Ned. Not up here where you're no good to anybody,' Robert told him. 'Lord Eddard stark I would name you the hand of the King.' Robert declared. Ned got down to one knee and Josie spun around looking to her father bow before the king.

'I'm not worthy of the honor.' He told Robert.

'I'm not trying to honor you I'm trying to get you to run my kingdom will I eat drinking whore my way to an early grave,' Robert insisted. 'Come on Ned, stand up,' he said patting his shoulder 'you helped me win the iron throne now let me help me keep the damn thing. We were meant to rule together. If your sister had lived we would've been bound by blood but it's not too late,' Robert told him. 'I have a son you have a daughter we will join our houses.' He said walking off.

'The capitol...' Josie didn't want to lose her father but maybe this was the escape she needed. When he left she could explore the whole of westeros. Catelyn wouldn't want her here and certainly not without Ned. She could go everywhere, she wanted to see the gardens in High Garden and the Desert castles of Dorne had always amazed her. Being born in winterfell she hadn't much of a chance for the sun on her skin she thought she would enjoy the sunshine.

'Come along Josie.' Ned said leading her up, he couldn't help but think Josie Lyanna's twin when she stood next to the crypt, with deep black hair and bigger eyes. The same fire lyanna had for adventure and the biggest heart.
