Miami, FL - Christmas Day 10 AM

"Hello?" I answered my phone angrily, it was a little too early and I was aggravated already. "Damn baby girl, merry Christmas" Kree smiled on FaceTime as he drove around.
"Where is you goin?" I asked sitting up. "Come outside" he parked the car "I'm not home" I laughed going to the bathroom.
"I know det, I'm not home either" he said making me smile. "Kree you came over here?" I smiled walking to the front making sure no one was awake.
I went outside giving him a hug. "Come on" he nodded his head toward the car.
3 hours later
I crept back into the house slowly, my family always slept in so I had nothing to worry about. "Well Santa ass done forgot a gift" my uncle Dell said making me turn around seeing everyone in the living room.
"Hey y'all..... Auny B it look real nice in here" I smiled trying to avoid my father "Maraii come here" he said scaring me. I rushed over. "Yes daddy?" I asked "here" he smirked giving me a present.
Everything went to normal. "SOMYARI YOU GOT ME SOMETHING?" Bless yelled from by the tree, she was handing everyone their presents. "Thank you mama" she said swaying softly over to give her a hug.
Blessing was, honestly like my big sister. I loved everything about her and she was always so open minded.
"Manii thank you so much" she smiled at me as she put the gift I got her to the side. She tossed all of her presents to the side but made sure to hand everyone theirs.
"Blessing, yo birthday coming up soon. What you want?" My momma said making me look over to her.
"nothing" she smiled small and sat down on the floor to watch everyone opening everything.
"Thank you Somyari" I smiled at the sweater, it was my favorite color. "Y-you're welcome?" She responded back confused making me laugh.
When everyone was done opening their stuff Somyari spoke up "y'all, I didn't get anyone anything I'm so sorry I think Miss Sy grabbed those last night" she said making us all laugh "girl, we don't care. Thank you" My Momma laughed kindly.
I watched as blessing took multiple trips to take her gifts upstairs. Everyone faded into there own thing, when I turned back around she was gone.
"Why didn't bless open her gifts?" Somyari asked Rah "she neva do, she open them upstairs every year, in any house" he said lowly but I still heard.
I watched blessing coming down the stairs. My Aunt started to play music.
I watched Blessing and looked back at Rah and Somyari, the music was too loud and I was getting a bad feeling.
"She talks to her dad about what she got for Christmas" Rah said so loud just as the music stopped playing.
My Titi Espy was getting a call, so the speakers went quiet. Blessing looked over to him in shock and embarrassment, she smiled as her eyes got a little red.
She didn't run away, she just walked up the stairs slowly with the rest of her stuff. I just watched the whole thing play out, Rah and my brother looked at each other and then my brother went upstairs. I pulled out my phone
