It seemed like I couldn't get Blessing alone all morning. The crew finally finished packing up and cleaning the rest of the house for the next few projects "Thank you so much, like you've been a big help please let me know if you guys need more work. If there's anything I can do let me know" Blessing said pulling Constance into a hug "no, thank you" was all she said, returning the hug almost tighter.
They left and in the rush of people storming out, she disappeared. I searched everywhere until I found her in the office "oh, she's gonna fucking flip when she sees this" I gawked, looking around at the artwork, the new furniture and other small but amazing decor in the room. "I know" she squealed "I usually just go based off of what my clients tell me and what I can stalk from their social lives" she laughed "to really give me that edge but I'm fortunate to be friends with Kadence so I feel like I know, possibly exactly what she likes?" She said slightly unsure and I laughed "I think you hit the nail on the head" I smiled and she stared for a while "well, let's get started shall we?" She smiled and we began putting furniture together and putting artwork into frames, the walls were freshly painted so we'd have to wait to hang them up.
We were assembling two different parts of a glass desk when my phone rang "hello?" I answered the FaceTime accidentally "OH MY GOD I LOVE THAT COLOR..... is that.... IS THAT A MIRROR WALL?" Kadence yelled and I hung up the phone, scared to look over "are you serious?" Blessing narrowed her eyes at me "I'm sorry" I said genuinely and she rolled her eyes.
I got up, walking over to her before taking the space between her legs. I stared for a while before she pulled me closer to her, placing the softest kiss on my lips as she slid my shirt off.
We both laid there, in complete shock "I... would you like to come to a... party with me back home?" She asked out of breath "Yes" I answered quickly, making us both laugh. We had some time before the next crew came so we chose to talk while we finished setting up the office. The rest of the day was long and we spent most of the time in separate parts of the house.

I sat on a step ladder with my eyes closed "tired?" Nameer asked and I shook my head "well, I was gonna invite you over for dinner but-" I opened my eyes "I could eat" I said and he laughed, we gathered all of our stuff up and headed to the car. Engaging in small conversation as we drove to his house, I sat in the kitchen and watched him cook.
"This is like, really good" I said and he smiled "thank you" he said and I smiled back at him "so what's this party?" He asked and I laughed, taking in his confused reaction with a smirk "a gender reveal" I said nonchalantly as I ate my last few bites of food. "Ohhh, okay. Who's?" He asked as he grabbed my plate, I walked with him to the sink and started to wash the rest of the dishes for him "my ex" I replied and he laughed "okay, this is gonna be interesting" he said and I laughed "very" I said and we both laughed some more.
"But I'm not telling anyone I'm coming, it's going to be a surprise" I said as we sat on the couch, this was the second time I was in his house. I made sure to take in all of the decor, all of the color or lack there of "can I ask why?" He asked, rubbing my feet "I just want to surprise them and I would also love to be the bigger person and accept this invitation to the gender reveal" I said with a smile and he laughed "what?" I asked and he stared at me for a while before speaking "are you going to be petty or are you going to be nosy?" He asked and I laughed "what do you think? And I'll tell you my answer after we've attended" I said and he smiled "I think, you're going to be nosy definitely, and I'm sure you're dragging your whole family along with?" He asked with a smirk making me laugh "oh of course, and you're the eye candy" I winked making him laugh.
