****Y/N'S POV****
I ran into work hoping to God I wasn't late. Great... Just started and I'm already late. Eddie felt so bad. One of his teachers wanted to talk to him about his grades even though he said he was in a hurry. I told him not to feel bad but part of me was slightly annoyed. I ran in huffing and puffing to find Steve with a grin on his face.
"You just made it. Rewind duty!" He laughed.
"STEVE!"
"YOU MADE A FOOL OUT OF ME LAST NIGHT!"
"I mean you do that to yourself every day...." I said as I headed to the back. "I just kinda gave it a gentle nudge yesterday."
"Y/N...."
"Steve." I mocked as I set my bag down, clocked in, and saw why he was so eager to send me back here.
The pile in returns was like a damn mountain. I sighed and looked up before sitting down and getting down to business. I guess I can't complain... I mean. I have a job, an easy job. I'm making my own money now... I have more freedom... I have an amazing boyfriend and the best friends I could ask for. I shouldn't be complaining at all. I have it pretty good... Why did I get philosophical over this? I popped the first movie into the VCR and was watching Halloween in reverse when suddenly I felt hands on me and jumped off my seat, crashing onto the floor with a thud. I didn't hear anyone walking up to me, I didn't hear anyone walk in at all...
"WHAT THE HELL?!" I yelled.
"Sorry! I wanted to surprise you!"
The lights in the dark room turned on and I saw Eddie.
"I should smack you!" I hissed, "But I'm more excited that you're here! I thought you drove off!"
He offered me a hand and effortlessly pulled me up to my feet, pulling me to his chest and kissing me, "I did at first. I did a few laps around the block before showing back up."
"I love you." I grinned, "How did you get passed Sergeant Steve?"
"Easy. I just walked in." He laughed, "We have a show tonight... Wanna come after work? I'll pick you up."
Oh great... Another possibility of an Amanda spotting. Maybe I can get Steve and Robin to come too... Maybe they can help me figure this out... Another set of eyes. The only reason I haven't talked to Eddie about it is because I don't want him thinking I'm jealous. I'm not. I trust Eddie with my life. Literally. He saved me from drowning in the lake. I don't trust Miss Amanda.
"Baby?" Eddie asked, pulling me from my thoughts, "Y/N? Hey hellooooo."
"Yes! But ummm what if I bring Robin and Steve along too?" I smiled up at him.
"Sure!"
Now to get them to agree...
"Hey! You get out!" Steve hissed as he entered the room, "Don't bring your sexcapades here!"
"We weren't even doing anything!" I sighed, "Why are you such a-"
"Don't you even...." He said with eyes narrowed.
"DOUCHE!" I yelled and hid behind Eddie, "But in all seriousness... Eddie has a show tonight and invited us... Wanna go?"
"Oh... yeah sure! Robin too?"
"Of course Robin too." I sighed. "Why would I invite you and not her?"
"What if it was a surprise party for Robin?"
"WHY WOULD I NOT INVITE ROBIN TO HER OWN SURPRISE PARTY?" I shouted.
"But it's not my birthday..." She said as she entered the room.
