It was a beautiful Saturday evening in Lithuania. A blonde middle aged woman was preparing for her performance right there, at the gay club. She was sitting in front of the mirror backstage doing her makeup and hair.

"Why am I even doing that, I'm so tired, I need holidays".

She said to herself. She loved performing at that club but that time she was way too exhausted and really needed some time off.

"How was the concert yesterday?"one of her friends asked.

"Well okay it was fun, just like the one the previous day, but this one will be the best ever, I love this place!!" she said.

"Your schedule is way too hectic, concerts day after day!!! I admire you, I could never!" exclaimed another one of her friends.

"I know, that's why I can't wait for my holidays after I finish that concert!"

She tried to not get too excited about performing there but deep inside she was ecstatic, she loved the LGBT+ community a lot. Not only that, but she also secretly was a part of it hence she tried to do her best to give an unforgettable performance to her people that night. She put on black sparkly eyeshadow and red lipstick, brushed and straightened her hair, and put on a red dress and boots. She was ready to perform now, she went out on stage and did her best as promised. She loved seeing all her fans screaming and singing along her. What's more, she loved making HER community happy. Sadly no one knew she belonged here besides her herself. It was her secret since she has had a husband for many years.

"God, I wish they already knew about my sexual orientation, it's so hard to hide it" she thought but finally decided that maybe it would be better to procrastinate a little bit and come out on different occasion.

She came backstage and saw her friends waiting for her.

"So how do you feel now, you have holidays, what will you be doing?" asked one of them.

"I hope I'll be able to go somewhere nice, maybe Serbia or Poland, I don't know yet, everywhere is good when there are no paparazzis around" she said laughing.

"Is your husband driving you home tonight?"

"I'm sorry, no, I'm driving myself. Do you think I can't do anything without my husband? I'm an independent woman!" she said slightly irritated.

"Okay okay sorry, we'll see each other soon!" her friend said.

She entered her car and drove home. She arrived very late and her husband was already in bed.

"Hey Džordana, how was your concert?" he shouted at her from the bedroom.

"It was fine, and finally I can enjoy my holidays!".

"I'm afraid not." he answered.

"Why? What happened?"

"There's a letter for you, open it".
She did as he ordered.

"A letter for me from Eurovision??? Why?? Are they crazy??? I haven't even taken part in any national qualifications!"

The letter was in English, a language  which she wasn't very good at. She only assumed what it would mean. She would have to go to Eurovision next week. Holidays are over.

"No way I'm doing this!! Tomorrow I'll call them and we'll fix that mistake, I'm sure it was meant to be for someone else".

She was infuriated when her husband calmed her down :
"Did you read it carefully? You aren't going to represent us in Eurovision! It's only a performance in the final!"

Okay, this time she felt better but still confused why they chose her to perform there. Do Italians even know her songs? She decided after all that she would call them the next day and ask about that unusual situation.
