"but you love me," kuroo wrapped his arm around your shoulders. "let go of me, don't you have like practice or something?" you struggled under his grip. "right but i told my coach i have to do something really important." kuroo voiced matter-of-factly. "and that important thing is to drive me crazy, noted." you sighed. "could you put yourself into use and move those boxes over there?" you suggested. "aw, but i want to do something else." kuroo pouted while resting his head on your shoulder. "what then?" you suspected any activity hed want to do. "maybe a little of this.." he started swiftly grabbing a hold of your waist. "and a little of that," he slightly nibbled onto your ear. "what the heck?!" you pushed his face away from you. your face was beet red and you felt your heartbeat increase in beats. 'how do you always make me feel this way?" you thought as you covered your face with your hands.
"kuroo, ive told you already. im okay with walking home by myself." you walked in front of him. "im a man of his word." he presses his hand to his heart. "yea right." you rolled your eyes. you both walked in a tensional silence. "spit it out." you taunted. "what?" kuroo puzzled. "youve got something to say right?" you side eyes the curious boy. "why dont you..." he started. "like boys?" you paused. "what do you mean?" you tilted your head. "well, a lot of boys dont have much freedom at school, i assumed you had something between them." you hesitated. "my father left." you frowned. "he was an asshole. it made me believe every other boy was like him." you bit your inner cheek. "ive been independent most of my life, with a mother that works her ass off daily. no one to trust or count on." you snorted. "but youve got me," kuroo spoke up. "no i dont, i still dont trust you." you closed your eyes. kuroo tensed at the words being spoke to him. "your just going to turn out like my father, you make me feel calm and happy but soon enough your gone leave without a goodbye." you clenched your fists. "so im nothing to you?.." kuroo paused. "well i wouldnt say—" you were cut off. "why do you never want help, i mean yea you never appreciate someone's help." kuroo snapped. "wait—" you were cut off once again. "you never seek help and doing that your gonna end up alone." you lifted your hand to his arm, in a way of comfort. he slapped your hand away leaving you stunned. "hey, i didnt say i dont appreciate you, nor did i say you were nothing to me!" you yelled back. "well, why do you always act like it, huh? why dont you accept someones help," kuroo questioned as he looked down. you paused. were you not considerate of others? "im sorry." he mumbled before walking away out of your sight. you stood there and watch him turn the corner. you felt your eyes start to water and notice several pairs of eyes, staring at you. to avoid making more of a scene, you walked the way to your house with an empty feeling in your heart. a hole. several holes.
youve never sought help since your father left. being independent was a must in your state. your mother was always out working so you had to do homework, cleaning, and budgeting alone. even if you needed help, youd have to figure it out since no one stood on your shoulder to help. so you study, worked your ass off, and clean to your hearts content until you never need anyones help. the feeling of someone walking you home, sitting next to you in an empt classroom while you worked on papers, the feeling of having lunch with company was introduced to you by kuroo. you were thankful for him. but you never expressed it, instead you made him feel like a burden to you and nothing more than a weird stalker. though, now you know the feeling of being helped by someone other than yourself.
